Days Inn by Wyndham Colchester Burlington - Hotel in Colchester - 124 College Pkwy, USA

The staff were very friendly, breakfast was okay, they had waffles, apples, bagels, coffee etc... The room smelt weird and the smell wouldn't go away, there was questionable people around at all times, did not feel safe. We stayed 2 night, there was hot water, and the bed was comfy. My only complaint are the people who live there, based on other recent reviews it is a homeless shelter. We left in the morning on day 1 to visit the Island Line Trail, and room service came in and did their job which is fine, but there were personal things misplaced, including jewelry, work phones and clothings. Again the place is very sketchy, and based on the ridiculous price.. not worth it.

Booked this inn for the eclipse.|The Staff was Great and did their best to be accomodating. Having said this, however, the place is a dismal, bare bones dump. Furniture - what little there was - was shabby, the bare floors in the room were sticky, and the hallway carpeting was dirty, and the hot water went out one morning... and the whole place absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. It's bad enough that it is located directly under the flightpath of the jet airport but it's also being used as a homeless shelter (with all the positive community but highly negative social and environmental aspects therein). This was the worst place we ever stayed in 37 years of travel.... and we were charged $300+ per night.

Needed a place to stay for daughters graduation, Limited availability, reserved nearly a year in advance. Paid dearly for a dirty, smelly, worn out dump. Between the dirty rooms, barking dogs and constant smell from people smoking non stop in the parking lot nothing good to say about the stay except for the friendly staff member when we checked in. Days Inn should be ashamed and embarrassed that their name is on such a dump. Can’t believe the staff actually charged us the rate we paid for such a disgusting place. Shame on them, we should have just slept in our car.

Crack heads running around and didn’t feel safe, place smells like cigarette smoke, not clean, definitely would not recommend staying here. Probably would have been better to sleep in the car.

- They expect you to clean yourself with the soul of the tissue. - WIFI slow, fails often. - Bathroom door is malfunctioning. I been in 4 different rooms and is always the same.

It was horrible, the tv wasn’t working at first then the bathroom door, nor could you close it but if you tried to open and close it would make the same sound as someone scratching their nail on a chalkboard. One star, don’t come here.

Positive: Location Negative: Wanted to charge us an additional $50 because we arrived a couple of hours early. Crazy, never had that happen before!

Stay at your own risk! Wish I had read reviews before booking, but every place was booked or double the price! But considering what we were charged for the most austere room in years of travel, this was the biggest disappointment for two nights ever! It was clean-- thankfully, otherwise we would have been in the car! They are helping the community homeless since COVID per mgmt, not enough housing with the various college students in the area. I'm glad they are helping, but not that it made us uncomfortable. No issues, but discerning to see someone with a plate full of toast and they were the only ones in the breakfast room! Instant eggs, no surprise. The queen bed in a room that could hold a king plus queen was crazy! Again, wasn't well maintained--room 226, screen off patio/deck door. Not a clean smell, opened door for cool air, now you get bugs. Again, just disappointed...especially for the cost!!
