Days Inn by Wyndham Cocoa Cruiseport West At I-95/524 - Featured Reviews (1181)
We booked a handicapped-accessible room here for a Saturday night stay. The property is older, but the room was clean except for the carpeting, which looked and smelled bad (either needs to be cleaned or removed and replaced with tile or vinyl flooring), and socks or slippers were needed to avoid dirty feet. The newer TV had a great picture and many cable channels (Spectrum?), but the remote control was falling apart, and I had to get tape from the office to hold it together. The bathroom was spacious and had good hot water supply and water pressure, but drains were very slow, and the toilet was loose from the floor and rocked when you sat on it. Tub/shower combination had a fold-down bench that was helpful for my partner's transfers from walker, and there was a hand-held shower head. When entering the room, there was a rather large round table blocking the pathway through the room and to the bathroom, and I had to move the table so that my partner could pass by using his walker. There was no desk, so I had to use my laptop on the table. A wheelchair would have been a vey tight fit. Lighting in the room was very good. Electrical outlets were hidden behind the furniture, and there were no USB ports available to charge your electronics. As I do, you may want to bring along an extension cord and a power strip, which was absolutely necessary for my partner to use his CPAP machine. Also bring chargers to plug into your own power strip. We parked in the handicapped space closest to our room in the parking lot, but a hotel employee's truck was parked blocking the marked space where a side ramp for a wheelchair would need the clearance. The huge swimming pool and tropically planted pool courtyard was a highlight of this property. There is a C's Waffles restaurant adjacent to the lobby where we were served a fantastic breakfast, and the hotel gave us a 15% discount card for use in this restaurant. Overall, a good value for the room rate on a weekend stay. I would return again.
The room was mostly clean. The staff was the saving grace. They were very nice. The location is great! It's just a 5 minute walk to Cocoa Beach. The handles in the shower were stripped from years of tenet abuse, but you would have thought the cleaning staff would have caught the issue while cleaning? The continental breakfast has little to be desired.
Stopped here a night before my cruise. I wasn’t expecting much, but it exceeded my expectations!! Ladies at the front desk were helpful and professional. Room was superbly clean and fresh. Pool was nice and big. The area seemed safe and upkept. We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel attached. I highly recommend staying here!!! Great price and clean rooms!!!
Staff was nice, no issues with them. All the issues we had were clearly ownership/maintenance problems. Room had clearly been cleaned well, but there were issues that go beyond what a clean can do. Curtains and floors were old and had some mold. Sheets were stained. The shower flat out did not work and there was no way to stop the drain to take a bath. Luckily we were only in for the night, so it didn't really matter, but it wouldn't have been viable for a stay of 2 nights or more.
The place is old and shabby, it's run down, definitely NOT a Ritz Carlton. The beds were comfortable and the room was acceptable. Service at the front desk was good. The pool was clean and the common areas were tidy and well kept. Shuttle service to and from the cruise terminal was awesome. For what we paid, it was a fantastic value, especially since we were able to leave our car at the hotel during our cruise. Best part about the hotel was the restaurant attached. C's Waffles. Delicious breakfast and great service, very good prices. We would 100% stay here again for a cruise.
Terrible! The room was nothing like the pictures. We were going on a cruise and picked this hotel because of Wyndham. Supposed to be quality, but not this place.
We got in the room it had a smell, the carpet was dirty. When we went to bed I started itching. Got up and checked didn’t see any bedbugs but there were stains on the sheets. I didn’t sleep well the itching kept me awake.
There was not much parking available because the hotel didn’t have enough space for the people that took the shuttle to the port and the people that stayed nightly.
I would not recommend staying there.
I wonder if it’s really a Wyndham property or do they just use their name to get people to stay there.
The one thing I can say good is the woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful!!
Like the old saying goes “you get what you pay for”
This hotel is pretty rough. It clearly used to be a different brand and is now a Days Inn. The lobby wasn't the nicest and there is some sort of waffle restaurant attached to the lobby. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean for the most part. Many signs of damage on the walls, tub, sink, etc. The security lock on the door was broken. The nigh stand table top was broken. The headboard was for a queen bed, yet the bed was a king. There was garbage and dead bugs behind the bed (I had to move the bed away from the wall to find an outlet). The floors are tile and not cleaned well. There was debris on the floor in the bathroom by the toilet. The caliber of the other guests at the hotel were pretty rough. I would not recommend this hotel for families or solo female travelers. While they do offer park-sleep-and-cruise packages, it's just barely worth it. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Hotel definitely needs some renovations. Should definitely upgrade laundry area & bathrooms are small. But for the price it was ok. If you're staying 1 night and heading out for a cruise or back on the road the next day then it's worth the stay. The ladies at the front desk are Not as courteous and customer service oriented as they should be for it to be a hotel. They have to be better on that. For those who are staying and preparing to cruise the next day, the cruise terminals are only 20 min away from the hotel. Very convenient. I highly recommend that this location (Days Inn Cocoa Cruise Port) keep their prices low and very affordable. The lady over the cleaning crew is very nice and customer service oriented (can't remember her name) . But the ladies at the front desk have to step up their customer service.

Excellent local spot impressively, curated, wine selection. Initially, I thought the large selection of orange wines involved the fruit somehow, but our waiter explains that it is still a well-known grape wine, but the name simply comes from the colo

Heard about them and had to give them a try. First off the people are so nice and welcoming. Tried some new things they suggested and was blown away by the flavors. So much food at a great price and a ton of drinks and sodas I have never seen before.
