We had property stolen less than 12 hours after checking in. While it's not the hotel's fault, we no longer felt safe and didn't spend the night. (After an hour with the police we were too worked up to sleep anyway.) Manager called us later and was very nice about the situation. The rooms were priced fair, and the main appeal was the low pet fee. Just be careful in this area.

I don't have enough words to describe the ladies at Days Inn by Wyndam in Childersburg AL. Mrs. Harriet, Mrs. Theresa, Mrs. Rita, Mrs. Bennie, and Mrs. Barbara are all a valuable asset to the hotel. While being unique in their own way, they all bring a friendly, professional, superior customer service that makes the guest feel appreciated and welcomed to choosing Wyndam. These ladies are genuine and beautiful people who does the right thing because of their integrity, values, and morals. They are all good at all areas of needs as a team with no complaints. They have a great professional staff and even if management is not around. These are the best team members I have far by seen in my life. I think their team needs to be recognized and rewarded if possible for a superior entry level service customer family oriented and welcoming environment they create for their guest. I stayed 3 weeks due to the fact that the service was undeniably by far AL around the board 100% + A. I would definitely be choosing Wyndam as a great experience as I give this review

The lady at the desk is rude as hell. She shouldnt be aloud to work with the public. My card declined due to it being locked. She then called me broke and said I shouldnt book hotels knowing I dont have any money. The outside of this place is trash and it looks just like a crack motel. Ended up leaving after her rude comment.

If I could give it negative stars I would. It was like staying at a cheap, dirty motel. The cost per night is INSANE this place is not even worth 50.00 per night. The sheets were dirty, there was a horrible smell and men drinking beers right outside. Also the check out lady was so rude. They’re a bunch of thieves at this filthy wanna be hotel.

I had to stay here just for a night due to work. I didn't want to stay here but it appeared to be the best of the few options in this town within a few miles of the job site. The front desk lady was friendly enough. I was given a bottom-floor room. When I walked in the AC was completely turned off. It had to be 85 degrees in the room. Great way to greet your guests. At least have it on and set to 76 or something. I know it costs more in electricity but it improves someone's first impressions of the place. At first, the room didn't look bad. It looked and smelled clean. I sat in my car for a little bit while I waited for the room to cool down. While in my car I noticed there was a large group of people down the way sitting around in lawn chairs drinking. No big deal. Back in the room, taking a closer look you can tell it's run down and full of cheap cost-effective repairs. The toilet will only flush anything solid if you hold the handle down for 30-plus seconds. The building itself is built paper thin. I rarely stay at motels, I normally stay at indoor hotels. Just by looking at this motel, I thought noise above me wouldn't be a problem. Ohh I was wrong. All afternoon I could hear people walking and talking above me, not only in the room directly above me but I could hear it up and down the hallway/upper level walkway. So keep in mind, that anything above a quiet conversation can probably be heard by many occupants. Every now and then I would hear this extremely loud squealing noise that would slowly fade to a thud. I was convinced it was the door squeaking when it was being closed in the room above me. I heard this noise time after time and was growing extremely irritated. After a few hours of constant conversation, stomping, running walking, yelling and the upstairs people "opening and closing" their squeaking door I was about to go upstairs and spray some lubricant on those dang hinges. I realized the noise wasn't their door. It was coming from my AC unit. As soon as the room reaches the temperature I had it set for the AC would kick off as it's supposed to. The crazy loud squeal was the AC fan coming to a stop. I was relieved when I knew I wouldn't have to politely offer to lubricant the door upstairs. The relief soon disappeared, I knew I couldn't sleep through the night without the AC but that noise was like nails on a chalkboard at this point. I put in my noise-canceling earbuds and went to sleep. It was truly the worst night of sleep I've had since my son was just an infant. I was woken up a dozen times by loud occupants and a dozen more times by my talkative AC unit. I will never be returning to this place. As far as the safety of the place goes? It didn't seem unsafe necessarily but they probably have the 3-4 locks on the doors for a reason. And mine looked like they had been broken and repaired many times. As I was looking at the different types of locks on the door I noticed someone had wadded up some toilet paper and shoved it in the peephole. I thought that was comical. Someone was a little paranoid.

We stayed for one night, when we got to our room, there was no complimentary soap or shampoo ready. There was a leftover dirty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain bar, as if they didn't check everything. The room was decently clean. The next morning, I was expecting a decent breakfast maybe some cereal or toast or something, typically Days Inn has a reasonable breakfast. All they had was a granola bar and some apple and orange juice. So we grabbed McDonalds, which wasn't planned because I expected more for breakfast. Anyways, after we grabbed some breakfast, the kidss were planning on going swimming until we checked out at 10:30. We went to go swim and it was locked, I went up front to ask about the pool and the lady was a little rude, said she will open it in a little bit she's doing laundry right now. I asked when since checkout is at 11 and she said 10, once it was opened I noticed that it was posted on a sign 9am to 10pm, when i asked at 9 she said it didnt open until 10. So, the kids had to wait to go swimming and only got to swim for about 30 minutes since we had other things to do that morning.

We stay here alot. Sometimes just to get away and have peace for a night. Second bed had old stained blood spots on it, never paid over $80 to stay here was charged 100 at check in told the owner that was to high then he said just give him $95 guess he thinks he can just charge certain people whatever he wants. Did not have a problem staying here ever until last night. Place needs better house keeping employees.

The cleaning ladies were very sweet, and helped me with whatever I needed. They were currently putting new flooring in during my stay. Only complaint i have is the breakfast, usually at the days inn hotels theres decent breakfast but all they had was granola bars, so we did McDonald's.
