I had booked this hotel because it had decent reviews and was a good price. The location upon arrival was not safe first of all. Check in went okay, but on the walk up to the room there was feces all over the stairs. Once we walked into the room we checked the beds like we do at every hotel. On the side of the bed we noticed a brown feces spot that looked like it was just covered up. Naturally I was disgusted. I got in touch with the front desk lady and she directed me to the housekeeper. The housekeeper took me to multiple rooms and each room was in the same condition. The managers of the hotel clearly lived in the hotel because the front lobby had household items all over it and looked like a storage unit rather than a lobby. The people of the hotel management were understanding and nice but the state of the facility needs to be managed better. It looks like they do the bare minimum. there should be a standard of sanitation and this hotel did not meet it. they only have one housekeeper cleaning the rooms so it makes sense nothing can be cleaned properly. if you can stay anywhere else please save your time and don’t stay here.

The first room they sent us to the beds were unmade. Then they sent us to another room and the bedspreads had brown stains all over them so we had to take them off. The refrigerator and freezer had so much ice on them that you could not put anything in them. The bathtub was filthy The next morning, someone tried to get in our room. Thank goodness I had the main lock covered over the door so they couldn’t get in. When we left that day, I had to wait about 10 minutes before I could check out because no one was there. She finally drove up in her car and I was able to check out.

Pleasantly pleased. I wasn’t expecting the rooms to be as nice as they are. So don’t let the pool fool you. Everything was new. The grout was freshly white like they just completed the remodel. However, the only down side is that there was some stains on the beddings and towels. But you could tell they were washed and clean. Still kind of a turn off. Also, the pool was green and I wouldn’t swim in it. But they may have fixed the issue. I went there mid June.

Positive: When we left! If we could have afforded another hotel we would not have stayed the second night. I guess we got what we paid for. I have never given a review like this before. I am usually pleased with our accommodations wherever we go. Not this time. Negative: Everything. The bed covers were stained to the point we had them to change them. Then the lady complained stating that this was the best they could do. The tub was covered in hair, someone else's hair. The lady was rude. Other staff was nice.

Clean. Outside door leading to parking within 6 feet, can be noisy. Friendly staff but knocked on our door at 10am after getting in at 230am. Pool was green. Old motel revamped with modern not to code design

Driving from Ohio to Florida at 5am and needed to stop. We called ahead to check on pets and he told us it was $15 (no problem). The room was shown as $48 online but he said that was only for checking after 3pm. We arrived to a fairly dated motel and rang the bell for a room. It ended up costing $95 but we were too tired to find another place. We entered a blistering hot, humid room and turned on the air. It was almost unbearable waiting for the room to cool down. As we started to get ready to brush our teeth, we noticed a flaky substance in the sink which looked a bit like old tobacco spit. Again, we were too tired to go complain about it so I turned on the sink to wash it down and it was stopped up. So, I ran my toothbrush under the bathtub and just used that. When we finally laid down it was about 6:30 and the mattress crinkled like there was plastic underneath the sheet. It was so weird. At 8am, someone was insistently tapping on the door so, our dog started barking(of course) and my husband finally got up, got dressed, leashed our dog, opened the door and told the lady to go away. He was not able to get back to sleep so the entire point of stopping and spending money for REST was wasted. As I was checking out, I told the manager about all of these issues and got “oh, sorry”. Honestly, I should have insisted on a refund but we were already exhausted and had another 8 hours in the road with no sleep. Just an all around horrible experience and we could have paid a tiny bit more for a real hotel with a useable sink and that actually let us sleep. Hope this review saves another sleepy traveler.

After seeing our room, we only stayed because we had just driven 8 hrs and we were driving in a torrential downpour and couldn't see the road. The first room required us to walk past about 8 or 9 people sitting on the stairs and loitering outside on the 2nd floor (it seemed like they lived there). The room smelled like cat urine, there was a big hole in the wall, and the comforters were stained and gross. We requested another room, and while it was better (no smell or hole), the bedding still had stains and even something crusty that looked like ketchup (it clearly hadn't been washed). We had to sleep with no covers and just pray that there were no bedbugs. The positives: no bedbugs and the lady at the desk didn't hesitate to give us a different room (in fact, she didn't seem surprised when I told her the state of the 1st one). I don't usually leave reviews, but I hope no one else has an experience like this. Nothing about this place was clean, quiet, or felt safe.

They allow people to live at this hotel. I was there ten minutes and one of the live-in persons asked me for a cigarette. Unbelievable! The blankets are spotted up, which I feel do not get washed at least weekly, and the bed is wrapped in plastic. I woke up twice dripping in sweat and the sound of plastic crinkling is annoying when you're trying to sleep. The rooms are very dusty and are not sanitized. And they charge more money for ground level rooms compared to second level rooms. There is no shower pressure and the room 207 has a toilet seat that is loose. That is unacceptable!
