Days Inn by Wyndham Apple Valley Pigeon Forge/Sevierville - Hotel in Sevierville - 1841 Parkway, USA

We checked in on Wednesday, July 17, check-in was easy and the front desk associates were pretty helpful. During our stay, which was only a few days, everything was great! The kids enjoyed the pool, although we had rain every day, the kids could get in the pool. The location is ideal, and close to everything! The room itself was not bad at all, the bathrooms are a little dated and small, the carpet as a little dated too, but these things did not affect our stay. The free breakfast was a great bonus and if you need anything, call the front desk, they were helpful! All in all, I would stay again!

Jumping from Days Inn to Days Inn was a nightmare. Found one we thought would work for us. Room 208. Front Desk was top tier. We open the door, the reek would knock anyone down. Fine, we both smoke. Heading to the pool, temp of the water was perfect. It was 95 during this time. Our feet are in slivers, chunks of busted up old pool just shredded both of us. We got DoorDash, food was good. Was intending on staying 3 nights. Laying down on those beds, no difference in laying on that “mattress” & just going out to the parking lot for nights “rest”. I tossed & turned for 2 & 1/2 hours before deciding we would just go back home. Checked out around 2 am., to drive all the way back to VA. |I wouldn’t advise anyone to do a quick trip to this Days Inn @ Apple Valley. |Sad thing, we hadn’t had any vacation or getaway in 7 yrs. Didn’t want to take chances getting caught up in storms, tornados, hurricanes in South Carolina, Florida =|I’m sure, if they spent some $ themselves on much needed updates, furniture, wall sockets, lighting, fans, ect. it would be awesome again.

Located within walking distance of several tourists attractions and restaurants. Our family was down for a quick get away, they were not as expensive as most places so value was nice. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, we had vehicle issues driving in. The staff recommended several local service centers to service our vehicle and also helped with directions to the centers. Housekeeping kept us in clean towels and other things that we needed. Breakfast was included in the room rate, staff did a good job at maintaining the breakfast room for cleanliness and food. The temperature was around 100°, so the outdoor pool area was a relief from the heat wave. Beds were comfortable and water in the shower was always hot, overall great getaway.

Positive: Bed was vevery comfortable. Location was convenient. Negative: The toilet was not flushing properly, called the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do because there is no night time crew to take care of the problem. We could wait till morning or come to the front desk and get a plunger.

Positive: The mattress was perfect. I wanted to take it home with me. (Firm but not hard) I didn't find any roaches or bed bugs. Negative: AC took a while to get the room cold even at its lowest temp. (It's loud if anyone doesn't like background noise while sleeping)

Every time we come down to Tennessee we usually stay at this hotel. Staff is always very nice and welcoming, rooms have always been clean and bug free . Hot tub room was nice also. Service is very good always make sure to have clean towels. This was the first time that we stayed a whole week and the pool was clean, open and ice cold on the hot days. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Overall - Great experience after leaving on 6/23. I booked later in the evening through Priceline for a decent priceline an hour before I needed a hotel. Check in was smooth, taking less than 5 minutes. The beds were firm but not the cheap spring mattresses either. I honestly want one myself for home. Cleaning wasn't too bad. There was some hair on the bathtub wall, but I still felt clean being in there overall. My only issue was the AC. It needed updated or cleaned. When it blew, it had a bit of a funk to it, so that's why I only gave 4 stars. For those who like noise, the AC is loud and good white noise to have in the background. It did take multiple hours for the room to cool off when set at the lowest setting. I want to go back and probably will leave this dung hole (Bermuda Sands) and come back to Days Inn to get me back on my return to Indiana. I didn't use the pool, but seen someone clean it during the morning hours. It is set further in from the interstate, but it's right by a lot of the main attractions in Pigeon Forge.
