Days Inn & Suites Lodi - Motel in Lodi - 710 S Cherokee Ln, USA

This trip was not good. Our room was dirty and outdated. We had to put towels down in the bathroom cause of how dirty it was. It was dusty and there was eyelashes and fingernails everywhere. Also there is no good breakfast, in my opinion. But on the bright side, the staff was very nice and they always brought towels. There was a mandatory cleaning every two days. And it was easy to restock in supplies. The hotel isn’t in a good location in town. Overall a 2/10 I wouldn’t recommend.

This place is not clean and the service is TERRIBLE when you have an issue. Also, they FORCE a cleaning on your room. I've never experienced that and they couldn't tell me what other hotels have this kind of policy, even after stating it was a common CA hotel practice. If you're a, "stay over," a 20 minute clean up is how they do the rooms.. think about that very quick and basic cleaning, leaving lots of dirt behind. They have women up front who don't understand English and blame that on the customer. Ex. after arguing over the forced cleaning that was never mentioned, I was asked what time I wanted the room cleaned, to which I stated 11, and it was suggested I do the recheck in paperwork then. So, I go back to the office at 11 and am asked WHEN I wanted it serviced AFTER she started my paperwork 🥴 When I responded that we had just agreed at 11, she then told me, "why would I have housekeeping go to your room when you're not standing in front of me, and how can I do 2 things at once?" I was told I just wanted to be combative and cause issues, because apparently us agreeing on 11 just a few minutes prior didn't happen. I guess she's also not able to get on a walkie talkie as I walked up to the counter and tell them my room could be cleaned, nor could they manage to tell housekeeping about it prior.. since it was already 10:48 when I walked out of the office. Again, they don't understand or communicate in English properly, and then want to act like people are mind readers on top of it. Their breakfast is also a joke. They give you a brown paper sack of stuff you may or may not want, including a cold bagel. This is a far cry from the last time I stayed here, and I won't ever again thanks to the 2 actually combative and not too bright women up front, who don't know how to communicate without constantly contradicting themselves.

Positive: The pool was clean and easily accessible. Quiet area not a lot of traffic. After a bad experience at check in the second room we were moved to was upgraded and much nicer. Negative: The room I was initially placed in had a broken bathroom window that was directly above the shower. The window wouldn?t close. The room had a strong odor and when I tried to call the front desk with the in room phone I found a cockroach.

The hotel is old, and the rooms do not look like the pictures. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, and housekeeping came by every day to give us fresh towels. No carpet, which helps with smells. The floors were clean, but the bathroom and kitchen were not.

Positive: Very clean. Comfortable bed. Negative: A bit dated. Some areas could use minor repairs.

Positive: The concierge attendant at the front desk was always really friendly; and busy! Negative: The WiFi was TERRIBLE. I couldn't use it so I used my own data. This was also the first time I was not allowed a late check out. I was expecting noon at the latest but was told I had 15 minutes so 11:15a.m.

Jessica and Roy were great at check in!! Very friendly and pleasant. Our room were booked by a group that we were in town to visit. Rooms are spacious and have a fridge.

An absolute dump in a bad part of town. Photos are misleading. Room is dirty. I was a single female and I was scared at night and cold. I would have been better off camping. High price, low quality.
