Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Starkville - Featured Reviews (276)
Great for the location. Price for the room and what I got was not worth it. Mold ceiling, plastic on smoke alarm, small roaches crawling around on the wall. Night manager was nice when first got there. But I won’t get another room here
saw a lot of bad reviews but was extremely pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Room was clean, smelled good, clean bedding. No bugs. Everything worked. The reason I have it a 9 instead of a 10 is the staff was a little rude and uninterested. Along with some nefarious characters hanging outside all hours. But the hotel itself was very acceptable. We would stay again.
Just not a safe environment. People taking chairs out of rooms and sitting in them on the walkway. One lady was “twerking” in the chair… young kids sitting on a over chest outside drinking beer. That is just a small glimpse of what was witnessed. $35.00 room at best.
Roaches in the room. Floor was nasty and had not been mopped. My wife took off her socks and walked across the floor and the bottoms of her feet were black from the floor. The bed was uncomfortable and sunken in the middle. The shower had something pink splattered on the walls. The caulking between the tub and the shower surround was discolored and appeared nasty. The shower head arm was repaired with tape. I have pictures of the condition of this room. Overall I was quite disappointed and unhappy with my stay. I won't be back, and I will warn everyone who will listen not to stay there.
This place is trash!! Mold is all in the bathroom, parking lot looks like you are pulling up to buy crack. Definitely scared to lay on the sheets. Everything about this place is just disgusting. By far THE WORST hotel that I have ever stayed in. This place needs to be shut down. Oh by the way don’t worry about looking at the pictures online. It’s not what it looks like at all. Would have been better off sleeping in the car than this place.
This motel is beyond bad. There was a dead cockroach on the floor when we walked in. There was black mildew on the tub faucet and undetermined stains on the drapes. The ac unit was so loud it was hard to sleep and the fan in the bathroom sounded like a helicopter about to crash. The location is close to the University ,but the sign is really hard to see from the road. The guy at the counter was polite so that's why I gave that a 3. I'll never stay here again. Shame on Wyndham Hotels for letting this place smear their name.
As soon as we walked into the room the 1st thing we see is a dead roach sitting on the carpet. While it's not overly important that color of the room was highly depressing. I understand that there are handrails installed in showers for safety, however adding one to a 2nd story room with no elevator makes no sense to me. There is mold throughout the shower. Trying to get out of this place is a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. The only good thing I can report about this Motel was the fact that the water in the pool, that we never used, was clear. If I were you I would stear clear of this place at all costs. It is a shame that Wyndham allows this location to even carry their name.
So employee was great room. Floors still very wet and smelled overwhelming of cleaner. Once dry could see not clean. It was good for one night. Restaurant next door was very load.
From the time I spoke with Amy Tuck, the sales manager, about reserving a block of rooms for our Conference attendees, my experience with La Quinta Inn and Suites in Starkville has been superb in all respects! It took me several days and phone calls
Came in town to celebrate our MSU grad and discovered this gem! We arrived at 10:30 AM in the mood for a hearty breakfast and Arepas did not disappoint!! The guys each enjoyed 2 Mañaneras and a Rumbera! I ordered a gluten free Good Morning with slic
Clean bathrooms with plenty of stalls for women. Good views of the field from majority of the seats. Usually easy to get a seat ( unless Oklahoma visiting). Get there early enough and you get to see how they chalk the lines.
This place serves the best tacos and the best central American food in Starkville. One bite of their mouthwatering tortas and you would immediately have an explosion of flavors in your mouth. This gem of a place is located on 182 right across the roa
Great living place, always quick maintenance with anything Iâve ever needed fixed. Itâs quiet and peaceful. All neighbors keep to themselves and are quiet and friendly in passing. A lot of friendly people and dogs at the onsite dog park. Pool is
From the time we exited our vehicle we were struck by the sleek decor and pristine atmosphere. Our server presented a menu of delicacies that admittedly evoked mouth watering. We ordered water and a sampler platter of appetizers plus a vegan meatball
These were the BEST donuts! Their cinnamon twist delicious!!! The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and nice...I can't wait for my next trip down to Starkville!!
It's well kept and an asset to the community. They need to open the new parking. I thought it wasn't open; but when I left the fields the other day, the cones had been moved and people parked there. Still a great place!
