Our first room had a leak from the ceiling. So we were moved to a different room. The second room had blood in the sink and on the sheets. The breakfast was terrible. We paid for it and didn’t eat because there was no yogurt or coffee. There was burnt toast, cooled boiled eggs and stale cereal. There was water all over the stairs because kids were running from the pool to the second floor. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

DO NOT STAY HERE! You will be disappointed. My girlfriend and I just stayed in this hotel seeing it had pretty good reviews and was cheap so we thought alright. Wow, were we wrong. It was the worst hotel we’ve ever been to. So run down, there wasn’t even a front desk person, it was some guy on a zoom call that greeted you and got you checked in. The room smelled funky. We took off all the blankets to make sure there wasn’t bed bugs.. thankfully we didn’t see anything but was paranoid all night, still feel itchy. The blanket had a cigarette burn in it and stains. Which we told the zoom guy about so we didn’t get charged for it.The room had a coffee maker which was set up in the bathroom, with no plastic covering on the cups. Disgusting. And no trash can in the bathroom so my girlfriend had to throw her used tampon in the trash can that’s in the main part of the room. Then this morning we go downstairs for the free breakfast and when we open the door for the breakfast the smell was so bad we literally couldn’t stop gagging. The breakfast was only bread, bagels, milk, a large community bowl of canned peaches, and hard boiled eggs (probably the smell but it also smelled like hot stale cigarettes). This hotel is not even worth staying in for just a nights sleep. It doesn't deserve the 3 star rating above motel status because that was indeed a motel

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice clean rooms and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast wasn’t great, but that’s not a dealbreaker because there are plenty of breakfast places nearby (we like Blake’s). Also, I saw a review complaining about the sheer blinds - there are thick blinds behind the sheer ones, they just have to be pulled out. Once we discovered that, it wasn’t an issue. We will definitely stay here again.

I wish i would had read the reviews. This place is absolutely disgusting. i will never forgive myself. This place is genuinely one of the WORST hotels i’ve ever stayed at. As soon as you walk in you are practically smoking cigarette yourself with how much of a smoke smell is in the entire building. The carpet is pushing 30 years old easily. I can not say this enough - I TRULEY REGRET STAYING HERE DO NOT COME. We are not even sleeping under the covers— it’s a terrifying expierence with a terrible smell. To the owner, do a favor to society and demolish the building. it’s disgusting.

The pictures of this motel wildly over-sell the actual experience. While it looked nice from the outside , the low room price is an indication of what you will experience ... just a smelly old motel. Too bad they didn't spend any budget on cleaning. There were long black hairs in the bathroom sink, tub, and even between the bed sheets! The "free breakfast" was a joke. 3 hard boiled eggs, no coffee & no juice (the machines were broken), and white bread served in room 101... a former bedroom. So all the atmosphere and cleanliness of a shed behind your Great Aunt Millies farmhouse. I wouldn't even recommend this place to a felon on the run! But ... the hot tub worked. There's also no "person" to check you in -- it's a video-screen at a kiosk, so that was a new experience I hope to never have again.

Was tired of driving the night we stayed and didn't see another listing for a hotel until Albuquerque. We stayed for 1 night. You check in virtually with a person on a TV screen, like a zoom call. I never saw an actual physical employee while staying here. Hotel itself is old, it looks like they haven't updated room in 40 years. The stained furnishings in room made the room look like it was from the 80s. Room appeared clean, but carpets need a good scrub. My son wanted to swim so we walked to the pool and it was extremely dark, barely lit. Had trouble seeing around hot tub area. My son was afraid to get in the pool because it was so dark, so we didn't swim. Breakfast was just cereal and sliced bread. Bathtub didn't drain and you're standing in deep water (gross). I'm not sure what you would do in an emergency because there is no physical staff, and apparently Gallup is a rough town. I didn't expect much, but a hotel with a Wyndham name on it you expect a tad bit more than the others in the area with comparable prices. I personally would pass on this hotel if staying in the area again.

I stayed in this hotel last night. I had driven for nine hours and needed to rest. I checked the location and price online and thought it would be fine. It wasn't. When I arrived, I was greeted by a man on a video screen. The online price was $60, he would do it for $67, everything included plus a $50 deposit that would absolutely be refunded upon checkout. The room STANK. I was tired, though, so decided just to deal with it. I settled in, did a little work, then discovered the deadbolt on the door was broken. The curtains didn't close, I could hear the person in the next room use the bathroom, and the sink dripped. THE SHINING comes to mind. Upon checking out, they had billed me an additional $28, I still don't know for what, then another $14 for something else I can't identify. My $50 refund was not immediately received, either. It's very difficult to discuss these things with a face on a screen (now I know why it's there) and feel that for the same price I could have stayed in a Best Western where anyone in the parking lot wouldn't have the opportunity to peek in my window. I felt so unsafe I slept (a little) with pepper spray and notified my family of my exact location. I have traveled around the world, and the conditions of this hotel shocked me. If they hadn't already charged my card, I would have left when discovering I couldn't lock my door. On the positive side, I don't think there was any surveillance equipment active in the room (I looked). Keep driving.

Entering the lobby you are greeted with a large screen TV and Webcam. There is staff on premises as someone came out of the office that is labeled as mail room when I quickly reported that I could not stay in such a filthy hotel. The bedroom had cobwebs, a filthy floor, yellow water from the faucet, and didn't have tissues in the bathroom. The pool was a public health code violation with trash and filth everywhere and murky water. The hot tub water had a Grey tint to it.
