Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham of Morris - Hotel in Morris - 80 Hampton Rd, USA

It seems that it has been a while since someone reviewed this motel. After lot's of problems finding places to stay, I must tell you that I was extremely pleased with this Day's Inn. The parking lot was plentiful and the price was good for a double room for one night.||The Night Manager was helpful to find a room with a bathtub, and check in was smooth. Elevator worked to get me to 3rd floor and was pleased with the room. It smelled a bit of disinfectant, but was fine and better then the last two places I had stayed on this trip. The room was CLEAN ... beds, sheets, and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioner was quiet and kept the room nice and cool like i wanted. ||The bathroom was clean and the water was hot for a comfortable bath. Vending machines on first floor with good ice machine. ||Comfortable sleep with no loud noises. In the morning I enjoyed a "lobby waffle" and sausage gravy with biscuits. The gravy and biscuits were as good as the ones I paid $12 for earlier in the week. The morning manager was very nice and had me checked out in minutes.||Overall, I believe this Day's Inn was a diamond in the Ruff.... if you are in the area, give it a try!

Was my 1st disappointment at a days inn. Ever. Desk person couldn’t care less about anything. Bed sorta short-sheeted, a bit of leftover juice cup wrapper on the floor and no coffee machine. I can put up with a lot but that’s the biggest issue to me. I don’t even use providers coffee…just needs the boiling water for my own instant in the am. Dissatisfied.

Don't waste your time going to the days inn in Morris Illinois. This place is terrible . The place needs a deep|Cleaning from top to bottom. The lobby smells as all common areas . The pool area needs to be clean. Rooms smelled and were not cleaned burnt marks on the tub in the bathroom. If I could rate less than a zero I would! The light breakfast in the morning that area where they have it needs to be cleaned and sanitized between usages. Again I highly recommend you all skip this dump

Room rate was reasonable, good location and comfortable bed. Desk clerk was accommodating when I requested a room on the 1st floor. On the negative side, breakfast was on the meager side and the thinnest and scratchiest towels I have ever seen. If you need to exfoliate your skin, you’re in luck!

I wasn't impressed with this place this time we came to visit. The sink doesn't drain, and there were human hairs in the clean tub and urine still on the front of the toilet. Our cards to the room didn't work many times and we had to make several trips to the front desk. The room smelled so stale, and the towels were so rough. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, though.

Positive: Comfortable bedCoffee was pretty good on breakfast bar Negative: Room could have used a chair/ottoman setup or more comfortable chair. Breakfast bar had no protein source for those on a low carb diet. There was 2 high sugar cereals, biscuits with gravy, waffles, bread, etc. No eggs, breakfast meats, peanut butter

We checked in with family and immediately seen the toliet lid did not work. I work for a hotel so i check towels and found pubic hair and long hairs on the “brand new towels” we told the front desk and they told us they would change it they did but left the pubic hair towel and another towel with a hair inside. There was also blood on the bed told front desk about that too and to our suprise when we came back they didn’t change it. Absolutely disgusting. Please spend the money and go somewhere else

Positive: The room was clean and comfortable Negative: The halls were like 95 degrees and smelled. The elevator was old and felt like it was going to crash down. The breakfast usually has a simple fruit basket but was really poor with little food. People were banging around and yelling in the halls.
