Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kaukauna WI - Hotel in Kaukauna - 1201 Maloney Rd, USA

I recently married on 08/31/24. This is the nearest hotel to the wedding location. Easy access to the highway and nearby gas stations and a fast food restaurant, but I am HUMILIATED to have had my family and the groom choose this location for such an important event in my life. The evening/night attendant was great! The guy that works during the day was rude, demanding and they will look to charge you extra for literally anything. My husband was charged $30 extra for checking out 10 mins late as he finished getting ready for the wedding. This was after they refused to let the groomsman pay for an extra night in the same room (because they were already in there) but they made him move rooms anyway. My father checked out on 09/01 and today 09/02 the owner called to tell my Dad he would be charging him for sheets because there was a small blood stain on the sheet from an arm injury that bled in the middle of the night. Blood stains are easily removable, and not uncommon for a hotel bed. Total garbage service looking to make a quick dollar off of their guests. Breakfast is nothing to write home about, service was lacking, and the extra charges were a far stretch! Highly recommend choosing somewhere else for your stay!! I will never darken the doorsteps of this place again. Stay in Appleton or Kimberly!

After reading the reviews on our way to the hotel we ALMOST ditched it and stayed somewhere else. We are SO happy we didn't! The outside of the building looks like it has been redone and the landscaping and flowers were a nice touch! Plenty of on site parking, which was great! The husband and wife that checked us in were both super polite and friendly and check in was quick! Love that they offered us complimentary cold water! The sitting area to the right when you walk in looks to have been updated with cute furniture! Our room was nice/clean, it had new wood flooring, the bed was clean and made nicely. We liked the sink/vanity being seperate from the toilet/shower. TV, refrigerator, microwave and air conditioning worked great also! When we returned from our day we had a great conversation with the married couple (staff) again! Upon arriving we did not smell an odor that people have been complaining about, but when we came back we did and if you do your research it is from the mills in Kaukauna, which is no fault of the hotel. The smell was basically contained to the lobby area because of the door opening and closing and did not smell at all in our room! Breakfast was a normal continental breakfast and the presentation was nice! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! Thanks Days Inn!

I was sent here by my company and had a very comfortable stay. Front desk staff were very friendly and speedy on the check in. Rooms were clean and new. The TV’s were brand new and huge. Recommending this hotel to co workers and their families to stay.

Friendly and funny staff while checking in started my stay here off to a great start. Saw the hotel off the highway and thought to stay for the night since it was late. The place was great and they had some fun ladies staying that loved to chit chat. The only thing was that the breakfast had no fresh fruits, but what hotels even give that nowadays.

The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail made me feel like a valued guest throughout my time at the hotel.

I would suggest reading other reviews of this property. I had the same result. AC was not on in lobby, terrible smell when you walked in. When room was ready after waiting for 15 minutes, which was not an issue, they told me they only had a room on the second floor. They have no elevator and I have a handicap sticker for our vehicles due to multiple surgeries. When I told them I could not do this and asked for a refund. The day manager just snickered and said" did you read the policy"? WE do not do refunds.||||When I asked him to write down his name or the managers name name he refused and would not give me the phone number of the manager, who seemed to be off site. He finally did give me his name and the first name of the manager, the receptionist finally did say the last name of the manager.

-5 stars upon arrival the hallways were dirty dingy and dark. old looking. upon getting our room we immediately knew we couldn't stay here. stains in the blankets, sheets. the room was dusty and was every part of a 1.5 star hotel. after 5 mins I returned the keys , and asked for a refund. I would not feel comfortable staying here. we were dealing with a family emergency and between that and not having a comfortable place to stay. NO! JUST NO! Update: I took was offered $50 "credit" towards a future stay.

HORRIBLE! Will never attend again. We had stains on our bed so we asked for different sheets before we left to do a day activity and when we came back they weren't changed. We asked again and the staff said we would need to ask beforehand. Explaining we did, they then said if we saw how many sheets they already had to change, we would never ask. Carpet in the hall was dirty and stained, gigantic holes in the walls exposing wires, and uncleaned pool. Booked two nights but left after the first night, unrefunded, to stay somewhere else because it was so bad
