This hotel is getting a little older and has a few issues, but they are working on them. The staff makes up for and inconvenience in my opinion. Especially Rachel at the front desk. She was patient and so sweet. I was having a bad day and her pretty smile and caring attitude made my day. They are definitely pet friendly and with no pet fee made them the most reasonable on price.
Great Location, Great Staff, Nice Stay
Liked · Our room was on the first floor, making it easy to come and go. The bed was also quite comfortable. The A/C was EXCELLENT, which is a big factor for us when we travel. Tiffanie checked us in and was incredibly kind and polite, as well as informative and helpful.
Disliked · Our room appeared to have been rushed when being cleaned. The shower had long, black hair in it and the walls in the bathroom were pretty gross. Gross as in dirty. The room service checked on us 10 minutes after checking in, and again 2 hours before check out. This wasn't a problem, just a bit unexpected.
DO NOT STAY HERE. Absolutely disgusting. I have never felt so gross before. Burn holes in the bedding, dirty floors that are not swept or mopped. Our room had dirty clothes in it and no toilet paper or towels, indicating it hadn't been cleaned. food and candy wrappers on the floor that hadn't been swept. No hot water. I am filing a complaint with the health department because it was that bad.
This hotel is horrible! Do not waste time or money. It is not the clean, old, hasn't been updated in over 20 years, staff is rude. The pics online is not what it looks like in person. We asked for towels this morning and was told there was none. We're having to go buy towels. We're going to get tissue in case. $300 is gone down the drain. Microwave didn't work. It was old as well. the only good thing about it is location. NEVER AGAIN!!
Tried to check in and already saw what the reviews were saying. Within 5min you can tell the staff is rude and don’t care. You can see it’s run down and mold. Outside looks very dirty.
UPDATE EDIT: The manager I believe she is came in and checked me in and was actually respectful and really sweet. Rooms (atleast the one I was in) aren’t that bad. Outside seems to be getting worked on.. so they are trying and that’s a plus. They also accept feedback and listen so that’s a plus. So with that. All around not bad. First impressions are just everything
If I could give 0 stars, I WOULD.
By far the WORST hotel I have ever been too. They checked us in over an hour late, 2 guys walked into our room while we were changing because they overbooked, the dead bolt has no screws on it to hold the door closed, and they had to come and knock on our door to check our name because they were so unorganized and didn’t check us in properly. I asked for my money back after 45 minutes and they said no. We left and my $120 is NOT worth staying here.
Save yourself the time, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Drive the extra 45 minutes and stay in St. Joe for any event or concert.
I asked to talk to the manager and the absolutely AWFUL lady at the front desk claimed there was no one above her. She was awful. I have no hope in humanity or businesses. save yourself the trip.
Hotel is old and in need of serious updating. They were replacing the roof while we were there. Rooms were clean. Whole place smelled strongly of marijuana and the area around the hotel was run down. Continental breakfast was poor, even by hotel standards.
Wish I would have looked at all the reviews better before I booked. Place was very rundown, not like pictures at all. Floors were dirty, walls had stains, bathroom was awful. Our outside window was broke & wouldn't lock & we were on the 1st floor so was a little worried. Only had 1 towel for 2 room suite with 2 bathrooms. Staff was nice but seemed reluctant to give us more. The whole hotel reeked like Marijuana, not that I'm against that but there were a lot of kids around with families. Lady at the front desk was nice though.
Really not a nice place to stay, was worried about roaches & bed bugs

This is the place to be in KC. My husband and I had such an amazing experience at The Truitt. We loved everything about it. We loved the unique and luxurious decor, the ease of parking, comfort of the room and how easy it was to walk to the art museu
Large well appointed room in a great location to walk to the Art Museum. Very clean easy to check-in and out and nice common areas. Very comfortable bed and temperature control was perfect. Great hot shower. Private secure parking inside the fence
Very good service and staff. Everyone in the front counter was incredibly friendly, as well as the people from the service. Installations are clean, comfortable, in a very good state. Included wifi and guest laundry were a good bonus. And complementa
The room was wonderful and the breakfast was very nice. Everyone was very good to us. It was the best place we stayed over the course of our cross country trip. We liked the way that it seemed to match up with the vibe of the downtown. Our room was v
I absolutely love staying at 44 and coming to visit my friends. Although I am an employee of BMG, had I found this community on my own, I have no doubt I would have fallen in love with the community and staff. They have the best events and the best r
First of all we love the name! Two Sugars in Kansas City is such a cute name and coffee shop. We loved our latte and conversation with the owner. Iâll definitely be back to try their matcha!
I've dropped into the 11:30am class several times. Fantastic community, coaching, and workouts. Clean showers and bathrooms. Ample equipment and parking. Everyone I met was welcoming and interactive. The community has been together for many years and
