I strongly suggest reconsidering before booking this hotel. This is my first review I have ever published, but I felt obligated to make the public aware about safety concerns over this hotel. We paid around $75 for one night at the Jeffersonville Days Inn in September for our vacation. We were just passing through and not in need of anything fancy. This was our experience. Upon entering the room, it was just not clean. The biggest problem was our room was used. There was literally food in the sink and splatters on the counter. I have attached photo proof of this. There were shiny handprints on the headboard and nightstand. I’ll let you connect the dots. The sheets weren’t clean either. The other less major issues were splatters on the wall that look like maybe champagne or soda, visible dirty carpet and lamp shades, and just general disrepair in the room. We IMMEDIATELY left and told the front desk that the room was just not up to par and showed him the photos. The man at the desk was nice and seemed to understand, it’s not his fault after all so we opted to call the general manager the next day. Here’s the real issue. The general manager of this establishment claimed we were ineligible for a refund because the sheets were pulled back and we “used” the room. I am so beyond frustrated that our room was already used, yet we are ineligible for a refund because “we” used the room. We did pull back the sheets to take photos to qualify for a refund. In regards to my friends room, the soap was used so she was ineligible for a refund (she had to use the bathroom). This hotel is borderline running a scam. They are advertising clean rooms and are not delivering. The general manager was very firm that we could not get a refund and that there was no one who we could file a complaint with. There’s no point in arguing, it is what it is but if you are considering taking a family to this hotel, I would weigh the risk of disease from sleeping in a bed that was EXTREMELY used, and reevaluate. Coming into contact with bodily fluids puts you at extreme risk for contracting illnesses. I would not let my dog sleep here. Good luck everyone.

Not a great place to stay, suites were all booked up with construction workers. No hair dryer. No refrigerator in our room, only in the suites. No blind on the window, only a curtain & was pretty much like daylight shining in around the edges all night long. Front desk manager was very nice. Breakfast was decent. Pretty old place, but was clean except for the cleaning lady's hair clinging to the dresser which I didn't see til morning. Was quiet, very few guests, understandable. I will do further research next time, we were kinda in a hurry to find someplace. The whole place could use an upgrade, arm chair in our room had seen better days.

We were greeted after a long road trip only to find out that our room for 2 nights for 5 people (2 queen beds & 1 king bed) which was reserved was given away to some one else for my stay on July 13 & 14.||||When I first arrived and I gave my name, he originally said that there is no reservation under my name. When I pulled out my reservation confirmation, he then admitted that my room was given to someone else. He said that the person did not leave and stayed longer than expected and told us that they couldn't have them leave as the housekeeping staff already left. I said I am able to change the bedsheets my self, I need my room as reserved. They had no other room for us. He suggested for us to go to another hotel. He found us a room at the hotel next door but the room was slightly smaller and not what I had booked. We had no choice but to go there because it was late, we were tired and we needed a place to sleep. As a Wyndham member, that was totally not acceptable. If the hotel next door would not have had a room, I don't know what we would have done.||||As for the location, it's by the side of the highway and has an abandoned building next to it (looks a little creepy).

I stayed here with my husband and our 3 daughters. We stayed 1 night while we went to Kentucky Kingdom. It was very clean. My husband is an exterminator and we're very iffy when it comes to hotels so he inspects everything and we're happy to say no bed bugs or roaches. We will definitely be staying here again. The continental breakfast was great too.

The staff was very rude & unpleasant. When there was a mix up with the room accommodations, a man from the front desk knocked on the door. I opened it saying hello and he didn't give any salutations or state who he was, he just asked if we were staying over then left. Very weird interaction. I will never stay here again. On top of a refrigerator & microwave only being available in suites instead of every room, the towels were very stained & dingy. They desperately need new towels & the entire hotel needs to be updated & deep cleaned.

We stayed here not knowing the dive it was. Food containers in the fridge from the last guest, holes in the sheets, and 20 year old pillows. We stayed as we were headed to Florida for the week from Michigan, and it was conveniently located. Located between a condemned hotel, hypodermic needles, and scattered trash, is this place. When we checked out and got 10 minutes down the road, we noticed our son left his stuffed animal. This stuffed animal means a lot to him, but we decided we could stop and get it on our way home. We called the front desk, they assured us they would save it and have it ready for us. We told them it was on the bed in the sheets. We told them for the assistance, we would stay there another night when we picked it up on our way home. A week goes by, our son is excited about getting his stuffed animal back, and we get back to the hotel. At first we are told it wasn't there, that the man posing as the general manager had himself walked up and looked and was unable to locate it. When I advised them that I knew this was incorrect, as we definitely knew it was left, he said maybe it was in the lost and found. Quite the change from "I looked and it wasn't there". The red flags just kept coming after that lie. First it was "let me ask the housekeeper " Then it was "we have a housekeeper on break, maybe she knows" , followed soon by "I'm certain it was the other housekeeper we have, I don't trust her and I'll check the video footage". We decided to stay again, as they said they would check the footage and try to convince the thief to return it. When triple checking the room, moving the beds and couched, food containers, beer cans, needles and other assorted trash were located and disposed of. The next day, we are told that they found nothing , but the third housekeeper had since quit during the investigation. This place hasn't been updated since the 90's, if it's lucky. The place next door is a condemned hotel, and this needs to have the same done to it. It's a public nuisance of a hotel, and not one trustworthy person working there apparently.

By far the worst customer service I have ever received in any business I have ever interacted with. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was notified that there would be an additional $25 dollars a night charge for an extra guest. After looking on Day's Inn and third-party applications I noticed that the rate the manager asking was over $90 a night more than what was being advertised. I communicated that if the manager did not want to keep the original rate I would cancel and rebook to a more affordable price. The Manager, Jeff Bhatt, informed me that I would get charged the full price of my stay if I cancelled due to a "Kentucky derby policy". When I asked to see the policy, he refused to show it and referred me to the website. After calling Wyndham customer service policy I was informed that no such cancellation policy existed and that I would get charged for one night's stay. After communicating this to Jeff Bhatt he reasserted that he had my credit card information and would charge me regardless of the cancellation policy I showed him. I informed him that this was credit card fraud and dispute it, to which his reply was to threaten to call the police. I informed him that I was ok with this resolution as we had done nothing wrong. He eventually "upgraded" us to a room with a large bathtub, but the gesture was somewhat empty as the room was missing basic necessities such as pillows, soap, and an ironing board. I am rewards member who frequently travels but after this experience I will go out of my way to avoid Day Inns or any hotel operated by Wyndham.

Wish I had read the reviews before staying. Room was filthy. There was a dirty washcloth hanging over the shower rod in the bathroom. Only provided with 1 bath towel, no hand towels, no floor mat for the bathroom (safety issue). The furniture had visible sticky mess on it. The amenities in the listing were not provided (alarm clock, iron, coffee maker). The pet fee was listed as $10 online and $10 on the paper I signed for the pet agreement but I was charged $15. When I asked about it, the hotel clerk crossed it out on the form I had already signed saying it was "the old fee." Despite calling in advance to verify the pet fee and the room, I was changed from a king room to a double queen and staff made it seem they were doing me a "favor" by not charging me more to change to a room size that was less convenient and I didn't event want. Just total fraud at this point. The parking lot is full of busted up cars with broken windows. The neighboring property is condemned and fenced off. The deadbolt in my room was broken. Totally did not feel safe here and I'm glad I stayed less than 16 hours here.
