I have been traveling and staying in motels for 40 years. This is, without a doubt the worst I have ever seen. Disgusting! Everything needed cleaning. Plaster falling off the walls, water stains in the ceiling, dirty floors, dirty halls, trash in halls and trash all around the parking lot, room smelled bad, loud air conditioner and TOO MANY ROACHES CRAWLING EVERYWHERE. I hope the letter I wrote to the health department closes them down.

Traveled with my brother. The first room key didn't work on the lock, so we were given a different room. Apparently "the battery was low" on the lock which is why it wouldn't work.||||The second room may as well have been a gas station bathroom. The beds and sleeping area were fine enough. But the bathroom was awful. The toilet looked like if you sat on it then it would fall apart and you'd get porcelain lodged in your backside. The tub/shower had nothing on the wall, so it was just bare drywall. It was like they thought about remodeling it, but did the demo and then thought "eh, good enough" and left.||||The entire hotel, but specifically the guestroom, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Which is impressive since it's a "smoke-free" hotel. It seemed like it was seeping out of the walls and through all of the vents. Every person we saw outside was smoking, and I wouldn't be surprised if they still smoked inside. Carpets were super old and gross.||||There was no sound privacy here either. From the hallway we could hear people yelling at each other in their rooms as if we were in the room with them.||||The two people that helped us at the front desk were very nice. It's obviously not their fault that the hotel is terrible - they just work there! There was another person that came up to the desk at the same time I did to report on how awful the rooms were and ask to check out immediately.||||We ended up staying at the Fairview Heights Holiday Inn just a few miles down I-64. After this fiasco that place was like a 5-star hotel.||||Please, for the love of God, find any other place to stay besides here. You'd honestly be better off sleeping in your car.

NASTY !!! SMELLED OF CIGARETTES AND MARIJUANA. Hasn't been updated since it opened in the early 80's, Bed was the worst I had ever slept on. Air Conditioner did not cool and the mini fridge was hot. Would not advise staying here, Just sleep in your car you will have a better night's rest and not smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke.

There are only two good things about this shixhole. It is cheap and our bed was comfortable. My advice-DONT STAY HERE!! There were two men smoking dope outside the entrance. Roaches everywhere, alive and dead. Moldy bathroom with ceiling tiles cracked and falling down. Electric outlets hanging out of the wall. Needs a health and safety inspection. Should be closed down. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Room is ok at best, could've used a lot more work. Reception is nice. But the hotel needs a proper clean up, from the ground up. I kept my room clean but I still saw roaches inside and had to kill them and their pricing was all over the place. It was 50 a night, now 65 plus tax. I would stay away from here

I stayed here a couple a months ago while traveling. It was the closest hotel that would take me and my fiancé because we were under 21 at the time and we were tired and looking for a place to stay. We booked and when we go to room the chose for use there was already someone there so we went to the desk and asked for a refund or another room. We did get another room and it could've been way better. The floors looked like that haven't been swept (we saw what looked like cut dreadlocks on the floor); there were stains on the walls, tables, and ceiling. The bed and shower were surprisingly clean though. It was also very loud, there were other guests who had there doors opened/cracked playing music loudly and yelling. Definitely wouldn't recommend unless you're as desperate as we were that night.

This place is disgusting. Hole in the wall doesn't even describe this ghetto hotel. I'm not picky. I go for cheap, but I expect my room to be clean, the water to work, and not sleep with construction materials from partially completed repairs. The following is a list of the problems with my room: 1. Bath tub not complete. There's no tile on the wall, only the Sheetrock Green board that always gets wet 2. Large piece of molding (6ft long) was present in my bathroom leaning against the wall. This is a guestroom, not a storeroom for construction materials. 3. Other areas around bath tub not finished, and deteriorating. 4. Holes patched with mud, but not repainted 5. Hot water not working well. Cold morning baths not for me. 6. No visible way to turn on the shower instead of bath. The pull lever wasn't present. Bath only 7. In room light bulb missing, posing a shock hazard for any kid who might stick his finger in socket. 8. Lamp base was dirty and sticky Upon reporting my issues at checkout, they wouldn't even give me a discount, so I'm placing my complaint for the world to see. Not worthy of the Days Inn brand. More ghetto than the worst Motel 6.

This hotel gives out the list of its currently registered guests to the Caseyville Police Department on a regular basis. Not 100% sure how much information they give them but from previous experience working front desk at a hotel my guess would be full name, full address, and a good possibility your license plate number and type of vehicle. Based on how scandalous the Caseyville PD is, they are probably soundexing the guests names and then pulling people over the second they leave the parking lot. This is all thanks to the hotel giving up their guests information. I have proof of the list being given out because the front desk employee admitted it to me. This is probably the same at all the hotels in Caseyville right off the interstate.

Absolutely fantastic, my favorite shaved ice place in the local area. Wonderful ice quality, no chunks at all. Great flavor variety, very pleasant people working the stand. Prices are around 5.50 for a large, not sure about anything else as I neve

Clean, except for the geese droppings, but that's okay, nice walking trail, workout equipment, and two ponds.
