So what caught my eye about this place was the price...I just graduated college and moved to Cruces for a job, but my apartment isn't ready yet so I needed to find a cheap place to stay. However, after I checked in, I took a shower...after about 5 minutes in the shower, the whole room started to reek of sulfur/rotten eggs. I quickly rinsed my hair of the shampoo that was in it and got out of the shower. I also noticed that after my shower, all of my beautiful silver rings had been ruined and turned an ugly copper color so I went to the front desk and complained. He didn't speak English very well so he called his boss who proceeded to yell at me, and then hand the phone to his wife to yell at me some more about how the quality of the water isn't their fault. I explained to them that there could be something built up in the pipes causing the odor and that I didn't feel comfortable staying in the room. I asked for a refund and for someone to come smell the shower in my room. They gave me the refund and I went back to my room to pack my things. Less than 5 minutes later, the front desk manager knocked on my door and asked for the key back... I said I would give it to him after I packed up my belongings because I didn't want to get locked out of the room. He then called the owners who knocked aggressively on my door and told me they were going to call the POLICE if I didn't give them the key and get out! I am a 22 year old girl..I was not there to cause any problems in the first place and am appalled at the way they treated me, while this was happening I repeatedly asked them to smell the shower and they refused, which makes me think that they knew about the problem and thought I wouldn't notice. I ended up calling the Days Inn right down the street and got a room twice the size for only 10 dollars more and EXCELLENT customer service. DO NOT fall for the price of these rooms..they treat their guests horribly if they complain about something like I did. Spend the extra 10 dollars and go to a reputable hotel/motel in the area!

I was on the third day (30AUG2019) of my 277mile/363kms biketour from my El PasoTX home > Las CrucesNM > HatchNM and back when the LCD on my eBikeKit-assisted CruzBike indicated re-charging was absolutely required. Good thing this motel was right on my way—I had left a several hours earlier out of Hatch, Southbound on NM185. |This established location met all of my needs, specifically WiFi, and most importantly, an outlet to recharge my eBikeKit battery. Front office advised me to not take my ‘bent inside the room, lock it up outside to the railing, specifically to keep it away from the window and possibly breaking the large page of glass.|I acknowledged his request, then went to my assigned ground-level room. ||Not intentionally/maliciously disobeying the owner, I did take my modified CruzBike inside the room, but propped it on a table far from the window and very close to the outlet. I was appalled by the atmosphere—I had specifically requested “NON-smoking” yet the air reeked of burnt tobacco. |I seriously considered returning to the office with my complaint, but answering the knocking the door, it was the owner chiding me for not follow wing directions. I showed him that my rather expensive eBike was no where close to the window, then asked him about why I was given a smoking room despite my request. He saw the situation, and told me that sometimes outside smokers don’t go far enough away, but it was, indeed, a non-smoking room. |Sure enough, within a few hours, the horrendous scent has disappeared. The scent now was a delicious Hatch Chile cheeseburger that I had purchased at a close by Sonic! And I definitely was unable to go anywhere else—my body was ready for rest!|The room had everything I could ask for, and is always expected: Mini-fridge, microwave, digital TV. The bathroom door needed to stay closed because all the a/c would escape the lovely room through it. |I did find the bathroom a bit in need of continued maintenance. The toilet roll holder needs to be fixed, the sink basin re-enameled/replaced, the handles in the shower are loose. Still, I greatly appreciate quick hot- and cold-water, and excellent ice from the dispenser close to the office. ||I’m very glad the Day’s End Motel is where it is—I have NO DESIRE to actually have to physically pedal any further! This established motel gets my “Wheel of Approval!”

There was nothing wrong with the motel itself, or the cleanliness (though I did find a few roaches during my stay). The problem I had with them is that I paid day by day at the rate of $40.77 for 5 days. I approached the manager and requested that the funds I had already paid be used towards the weekly rate of $190.00. Essentially they would have made a little over $10.00 in extra money over the weekly rate and I would have gained two more nights. They declined to do this and told me it was not their practice to do so. As a disabled veteran waiting for his apartment to be ready, which they were fully aware of, I cannot believe they denied me this service. It would be no different than me having paid the weekly rate in full. In fact, they only needed to come into my room twice during my stay, I took care of trash and towels, etc. I would not recommend trusting this motel. Definitely not a people oriented facility.

Unclean. Dirty walls and we weren't convinced the bedding used hadn't been used before without washing. The photo is just a sample of what the stained walls looked like. I would have taken more photos but we just wanted to leave fast in the morning.

I have stayed in hotels and motels all over the world. When I travel by car I prefer the motel where you can drive right up to the dood because I hate dragging luggage too far. Most of the time as on this occasion I use Booking.com. I booked Days End motel just as I arrived in Las Cruces. I have never been there before so I had no idea what part of town was what. The first sign of something wrong was the front door was locked and a sign saying to go to the little window on the side of the building. It was only 7:30 pm. This window was about a foot square and only half of it opened. The window looks into what I am guessing is the manager's living room. Laying on this tattered old leather couch watching tv is a hefty East Indian woman whom never moved . A short dirty grubby East Indian man came to the window . I told him I had booked a room through booking.com. I think I must have interrupted the best part of his tv show because he was not pleasant. He started thumbing through his phone mumbling. He cant find my booking. He says it must be on the other guys phone. So now I walk all the way back to my car to get my phone with the confirmation #on it. When I get back he reaches through the little window and grabs my phone. I had it ready with the confirmation # right there. Now he flipping through my phone, why I have no idea. All I need is a bed for the night after a long drive. As I look through his tiny window I notice just how dirty and disgusting his own home is. Tattered furniture, thread bare red carpet with a multitude of stains. I'm guessing a tv in the corner and a lamp. If his own home looks like this how bad are the rooms. There is only one other car on the property. I asked him if I could get a main floor room because my legs aren't to good for climbing stairs. His answer was you'll get what I give you. Then he went on how he was going to charge me for smoking in the room. Well that was it. Even after a tiring day I dont need to put up with this treatment. By this time he had my credit card so I grabbed that and told him I will go somewhere else. As I was walking to my car he was chasing after me yelling "don't forget to call bookin.com" I believe he does this to drive people away and then gets to keep their money and one less room to clean. I found a great motel down the road called The Roadway Inn and Suites. It is a beautiful motel and cheaper than Days End motel.||I did try to call booking.com. After I put in my conformation # and password I sat on hold for 25 minutes. Finaly a woman said hello then it went back to the hold music and 2 seconds later it just hung up. I gave up on booking.com but they keep sending me emails asking why I didn't stay in the dirty disgusting hotel. I explain it to them and then they send me and email asking if I can improve the review I left about Days End motel . If there were a way of making a worse I would. They should add little sad face with a gun to his head. Anyway the Days end motel gets - 20 on my ratings and booking.com gets the same. Because of their horrible customer service.||||If you want a fantastic place to stay definately go to the Roadway in and help these guys out. They just bought it before this whole virus thing and are suffering.

I would like to say that the stay that I am encountering is increasingly more than just a stay.. So, it has no pool.. but it does have rooms with full refrigerators microwaves and stoves. The bed area is as large as any other motel and the cleanliness is more than adequate. #1 policy if your looking for your palace area or castle area..go pay for it. The manager will bring prices for longer stays.. encourages longer stays.... makes you feel comfortable from be away from your own home...oh and there is new air in all the rooms, plus I have noted each room that is used a longer period of time gets repainted, and thoroughly cleaned. ||The only reason he doesn't want outside guest..must be because of theft, parties and a crime rate at his motel... If a person needs to meet with you... meet them in a different place.. why at your room? ||I am sure we aren't used to having to plug in a refrigerator when we get somewhere.. but think of going in cleaning the refrigerator... then having it just sit with nothing in it... it waste electricity, and could burn out a good refrigerator from just running for no reason. ||I honestly know that the manager has not bugged me about whether I am staying or not in the morning or other wise... although he has told me up front when my date of end of stay would be so he would not have to wake or otherwise try to get me to leave before my time was ended. Thank you for reading this review. To find a bargain... or nice leisurely stay give this place a chance.

We were driving from L.A. to Tennessee dragging a U-Haul trailer behind us so we weren't in tourist mode. We were in budget mode, and this hotel was a find. It was clean, warm, had free Wi-Fi and cable TV. It was off the main drag with a peekaboo view of the mountains, but not much other scenery to recommend it. We didn't care - we slept cheaply and soundly. The owner had hot coffee ready when we got up in the morning. It definitely made my list of where to stay on the trip back.

I stayed here after a long drive of the day. It was quite full with FFA kids. I was on the lower floor in the 2nd building. Very quiet all night. Room has fridge and micro. Break was waffles, cereal, Chip beef and biscuits, breads, made cheese egg souffle and bev. All good. Lady on front desk very helpful. They do have a business center.
