we enjoyed excellent service during our stay at the Daxton Hotel. The lobby was beautifully decorated, and the room was clean. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If you need anything ask for Jay at the front door, he will go out of his way for you, he is the best.

Great Place to stay in Briminghan MI. Porters, Service staff, cleaning people. The pantry not always stocked but a fun perk! Beatiful Hotel and very lively at nignt. Only comment and suggestion would be a friendlier Front Desk staff. had a Great experience when i checked in but The Desk person on The evening shift where very snotty. Did not answer our question about room temp- dismissed us?! Really? Otherwise one of the finest Hotel i been in!

Great experience . Staff are very helpful they go above and beyond . The champagne at arrival was a step above the rest. Comfy room with just enough space. I would recommend this place to all of my friends. I originally booked elsewhere and it was horrible. So glad The Dayton was nearby. I was also able to get a strapless bra in 10 mins or less from Harpers across the street . They were soo nice knowledgable.

We stayed here for a wedding. Loved the pantry with free food and drinks on each floor. Location is perfect. Very clean , nice rooms. We used the gym which was roomy and well stocked with equipment. There is a parking garage right behind the hotel if you want cheaper parking.

The staff was extremely friendly, the food was delicious, service was excellent, the room was nice and the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it! There was a refrigerator in the room, but the only thing I would ask is for a microwave in the kitchenettes to warm-up leftovers. Kitchenette was very convenient, and the gym was nice.

The staff is so friendly and helpful and everything is gorgeous. I love how spacious the room are. The lobby is open and great for gathering with friends or colleagues, or meeting new people - but large enough that you can still have your own space and do your own thing if you prefer.

I booked a one-night stay for my partner’s birthday the weekend of July 4th. I worked with the concierge and arranged for balloons to be delivered to the hotel. When we got in the hotel included a complimentary cake with birthday wishes. It was delicious and beautiful. The room was stunning and the weather was unexpectedly cool. We spent the evening on the terrace. ||We also had dinner at Madam, with no reservations. Our server, Nubia, was amazing. Love her personality and outlook. She had great recommendations. I asked about the sea bream and it did not disappoint. We got the cucumbers and honeydew, side of fries, tortellini, and sea bream. She kept the beverages coming, accommodated a last minute order of French fries and when it came time for dessert we were too full, but because it was my partner’s birthday she said she would choose for us and out came a chocolate chip cookie with a heaping scoop of ice cream and it was perfect. Nubia was phenomenal, the meal was delicious. The service was excellent. ||This was a beautifully memorable stay for my partner and me.

I love, love, love this hotel. It is modern and absolutely beautifully designed. The attention to detail is exceptional not only in the lobby but also in the guest rooms. |From our "check in" experience to each and every interaction with staff, we have been impressed. Mohammed checked us in at 4:00am. He was warm, kind, friendly and professional. He could not have been nicer and more informative. He provided both me and my co-workers with a full and complete explanation of the hotel property and all of its amenities. He was patient and took the time to ensure all of our questions were answered. ||The guest rooms are clean, modern and the amenities are "right on point". I have beautiful crystal glasses in my room and real coffee mugs, not paper cups! The bed and pillows are fluffy and comfortable. The lamp fixtures are crystal and very elegant. The shower is oversized and the bathroom has a beautiful, elegant double sink. WOW! The plush bath robes and slippers are comfy. The fitness center is beautiful and user friendly.||Additionally, the hotel is located in the heart of downtown with numerous restaurants and boutiques. There is a pharmacy within one block of the hotel. ||I travel for a living and the Daxton Hotel is one of the best properties I have had the pleasure of staying in. It will be my very first choice the next time I visit Birmingham. Check it out! You won't be disappointed.
