Dawgleg At Idle Creek - American restaurant in Terre Haute - 5353 Ryanne Marie Ln, USA

Used to work here, was held to a high standard and busted my butt off to make sure customers were satisfied. It had been two years since I was last in, and our server didn’t approach us for 30 minutes. Another 30 minutes later and we finally were able to order some food. We requested some sauce and it never arrived. Took an additional 45 minutes to get our checks to cash out. When I worked there this would not have been tolerated. Love the kitchen staff and their food and I have no fault against them, but our server was abysmal. Hope they can improve upon who they hire because I really enjoyed my time spent working there.

Our waitress Rianna was wonderful. Best food on the south side of town.. I will definitely go back.

Extremely long wait time, the prices were high and the quality is extremely poor. For example, the jalapeño poppers tasted and looked like they were frozen food from a grocery store which you wouldn't expect for $9 for about 9 of them. They are small mind you. The meat with my pasta was overcooked and was more fitting as cat food. Not worth the $16 at all. The only savings grace was that the forgot my side and so gave me a 50% discount. The entire time we were there there were no napkins and after asking many times, one of us went and got them ourselves from somewhere else in the restaurant. TLDR freezer food at mid to high prices with fancy restaurant wait time.

Waited over an hour for barely edible food that made me sick. Our waitress was kind but we had missing items, incorrect billing, and ignored requests for things like water and napkins. Bad food. Bad timing. Bad service. And bad prices. With so many other options in Terre Haute, why would you ever go here?

Took nearly two hours for a veggie pizza and a sandwich on a Tuesday night. I wouldn't go and expect food during trivia. After two hours, they also messed up my pizza, and I had to wait longer.

Had fish sandwich & fries, both undercooked. Fries were actually still frozen in middle. There was only one other table with customers so they definitely had time to cook it Not impressed with service or food.

Always a great time and great venue for a professional event. The 181st Intelligence Wing had its first Air Force Ball in the Idle Creek Conference Center. The place was beautiful, the food was delicious, the spacing was perfect and intimate, the bars were all fully stocked and staffed, and we got to hear a magnificent speaker, Chief Muncy (Retired). It was a great evening. Hats off to the organizers.
