* Small parking lot in the back.
* A number of individual tables and one (shared) bench table available inside. Pretty quiet and "workable" environment.
* Some unique breads like black rice croissant, castella twisted donut, etc.
* Almond cookies were flavorful, olive cheese bread was fragrant, cream cheese pastry was a bit sweet...castella donut wasn't exactly fresh out of the fryer but was surprisingly good, coffee wasn't too special.
* Read some reviews about bad customer service but I didn't experience that.
I feel bad for the neighboring bakeries (including Paris Baguette) because D’avant outcompetes all by a mile. This bakery makes awesome specialty pastries I haven’t seen anywhere.
Some popular items run out rather quickly so you may want to visit them early in the day. Grab a bag full of specialty pastries for your colleagues’ special occasion and you will be very appreciated. Grab a bag of chocolate croissant instead of a dozen of Dunkin’ Donuts for your office and you will be loved.
Hope this place doesn’t do anything to compromise its quality (franchising?) but I would love to see this spectacular bakery near where I live. FYI, Paris Baguette, Tous Les Jours and even super H Mart are opening up big time in Orlando.
It’s pretty much the only decent bakery around the Palisades Park area. They have a wide selection of pastries and cakes. My personal recommendation from here is the croquettes which is very heavy and creamy but flavorful and delicious.
From the stuff I tried: The Twisted Donut, Croissants, and they have a pack of plain buns on the side which are good. The Milk Morning Bread and Milk Baguette didn’t really have much of a milky flavor, just sugar. It also had this wet-like texture… Baguettes should be nice and crispy and crusty. The egg tarts are tiny little things, can’t justify spending $3-4 for them. The Black Colored Bread tasted weird not to my tastebuds. The 3 Layered Mammoth is horrendously sweet and not even tasty, do not get this unless you want to waste your money. The coffee also sucks. Tried it twice and both times was terrible, didn’t even have a hint of coffee flavor.
Service is fine.
I do still frequent here when I’m craving a certain type of pastry and because they do release some new baked goods from time to time. The vibes are also nice, it’s a spacious and pretty place.
Husband arrived to pick up a small cake for New Years celebration. The cake roll was nearly $20 after tax and it was soggy! As you can tell, the cake is losing its round shape by time time it arrived home, it is literally deflating. The bakery should really dispose cakes that are no longer sellable. We ended up tossing our cake in the trash since it tastes funny.
The most unaccomdating bakery that I even been!! This used to be one of my favorite bakery in the area until today. I went to get a slice of the roll cake for my daughter. It was $6 per slice, so I asked if I can buy the half roll for $17 and have them cut a slice for my daughter to eat it on the spot but the staff refused. I was confused as I don’t see how difficult for them to use a knife to cut it for me in the kitchen. They were not being helpful. That’s fine. Then afterward, I asked for a cup of water and the cashier told me it will cost $0.50 even for tap water. Seriously? This is already an overpriced bakery store compared to other bakeries in the area. Is it even legal for a dine in bakery not to offer customers tap water? There are so many other nice Korean bakery in the area. Please go to other bakeries from now on and experience some real customer service.
Awful customer service.
We tried to buy a chocolate cake. There were three employees talking together behind the stand. We asked one of them for help, but she told us to wait. Another employee came by and we asked her for the cake. She said we needed to order first. We go to the front and so far, this is all fine, but then she told us the price is $17.
We showed her the sign for the cake that said $6. She said it was a mistake. We said we'd pay full price then, but could we get a cup of water? She said she has to charge for the water. We're a little confused and noticing this, the employee called the manager. It turns out to be the first person we had asked for assistance.
We explained to the manager what happened who also admitted without apology the $6 was a mistake: It was for a weekend special. This was Tuesday. They know they kept an incorrectly advertised price. We already agreed to paying full. However, she insisted we pay for the cup of water. Other customers are buying coffee and getting their water no charge, but just for us, they demanded we pay extra.
It was uncomfortable to patron an establishment that doesn't respect their own prices or signs so we left without buying anything.
We decided to buy it temporarily, but the store gave it to us perfectly. we ordered the Matcha cake for birthday, and the cake is so good. It is much exceeded my expectation. I love it so much.
I really liked it here! Delicious, absolutely beautiful pastries and baked goods. Reasonable prices. Some seating indoors and out. Pastries were vegetarian friendly; no vegetarian savory sandwiches (even the egg salad had bacon in it). Just something to note. Self-serve, good coffee. Pay at counter. Other reviews showed pics of avocado toast and pancakes--those are old and no longer available. Fast-casual vibe. Street parking.

So happy that my boyfriend and I got to try this new bakery today. Such a great find! It's usually hard for me to like a pastry and I was skeptical at first. However, I was in love at first bite! The staffs are also very friendly. I had a small feedb
Went here for a get together with my girlfriends and we were not disappointed!! The food was amazing! We ordered Combo 2 which is enough for 4-5 people. Everything is good â wings, sticky rice, fish cake soup, clam pasta, fries, side of salad and g

Chefâs tip: after eating most
Really good black bean Kong-guksu. Made to order, huge portion, and strong soybean flavor accentuated by nutty sesame. I also think the kimchi was really great--definitely on the saltier side, but that complimented the more mild-tasting dish I ordere
They put some magical crack dust in their food. So good and so addicting.
We always get the skewers, cucumber salad of course, mala shanguo (A MUST), and cold noodle naengmyun, sweet and sour pork (pro tip if youâre Korean, ask for soy sauce and vi

Great carom billiard room.. they also have pocket billiard tables.. it was full at noon on Friday.. $10.00 / hour to play... If you play 3 cushion billiards, get there at 11:00 AM when it opens... 5 star rating..
I would definitely go back for the bingsoo. We ordered the regular size and it was huge and yummy. Pasta was good but portion was small. Overall it was decent experience. Must try the bingsoo from this place.
