Davanni's Pizza and Hot Hoagies - Pizza restaurant in Rogers - 14165 James Rd Ste 120, USA

Took a few minutes to figure out if the place was open, it was. Pulled up by the front door and we thought there were bees but it wasn’t… some other kind of bugs flying around (100’s), not their fault and I’m sure they’ll be gone soon. Got inside to order and 1 person training a new person (that’s fine) and one in kitchen. Quick look around it’s clear it’s understaffed. Trash cans full tables dirty and it’s only 11am and the place is empty when we walked in. Went to get our drinks on the multi-drink dispenser and no ice, waited for them to fill up the ice machine and pressed the regular Coke button and it spits out a light clear coke… no or not much syrup, the vanilla Coke seemed better. Looked for unsweetened tea… nope none. Food is brought out on a tray fairly quick. The chicken ranch sandwich was really good, I’d ask for half the sauce next time as it was a little too sweet for me, not a complaint just not a sweet fan. The side of garlic toast and tomato sauce were very good as well. Not sure what to do with the food tray and plastic plates etc, as the trash cans were full and I didn’t see a place for the other, so we left it on the table. I really want to try the pizza but not sure I want to come back as I know health wise, things seen is a small thing of unseen things. Good food, poorly managed, so the food quality will fail if it’s not overseen soon.

The atmosphere here is always great and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend on that alone, however, they do have great food. If it has been awhile since you have been here somethings have changed though. On how you get full or half sizes. Seating is limited when they have a party in their back room.

We are now 45 minutes past our delivery time and after calling were told they have a new person so it would be longer...30 minutes ago, no update, no apology. Have always loved the food, understand staffing shortages, but don't lie to me. Disappointed to say the least.

Food was ready when I arrived a few minutes before. Quick in and out. Deep dish tasted great, even the leftovers. Hoagies are always fantastic here.

We called and ordered for pick up 3 hours in advance and at the time it was supposed to be ready it has not even been made. Then they had the name wrong and were confused but the fact we only wanted it cut down the center once.

Club sandwich was awful. Garlic cheese bread had little cheese and didn't stay on the bread. Daughters kids size portion was enough for a two year old. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. Definitely will not be having Davanni's again.

Very nice staff and very great service. The food was good but it could use a little more seasoning to make it less bland tasting.

Pretty decent pizzas at a reasonable price. The actual cooking was fairly slow, though not terribly so. Staff was friendly and store was clean, but nothing really stood out as excellent or remarkable.
