Great laid back place. We loved it. Our room, while small, was spotless, and the bed was beyond comfortable. It took a lot to get out of it in the morning for breakfast. We were the only ones staying that night, since it was a Sunday night in the off season, and it was quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed after two weeks of camping and staying in hotels off the highway. The lighted dock on the property was awesome, and in warmer months is a fishing Hotspot. The owners couldn't possibly be any friendlier. Breakfast was delicious. There's an active charter fishing captain as one half of the business, so expect a lot of fishing gear and coolers around the place. We loved it, and want to return.
Great relaxing place to unwind and enjoy the water. The owners could not be nicer nor more accommodating. Room was very comfortable and sparking clean. Great dock to fish from day or night and owner does charters. Great home cooked breakfast and great seafood close by. Off the Main Street so we sat looking out over the gulf trying to figure out when we can go back!
We only stayed for one night, but I will definitely be back. The room was cozy and clean, bed was very comfortable. We had a room upstairs that over looked the bay. Was able to sit outside our room, they had chairs and a small table if you needed a place to hold your drinks, book, magazines or phone. They allow you access to the home so if you didn't want to be outside or in your room you can watch t.v inside their home. They have Grills you can use ,fishing poles, wagons to carry your gear. Plenty of seating outside, in shade or in the sun. The breakfast was wonderful, the host & hostess were very accommodating.
Billy and Julie are THE best hosts! I felt like a member of the family. Very knowledgeable of the island. Beautiful rooms, stunning views and great interactions. A fantastic B&B experience. I'll be back!!
My Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. They are per friendly and they provide fishing poles for fishing off the peer. Super friendly. Thanks for an excellent stay
I have never been to a place that offers such a feeling of community. I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived. I was always surprised by the food that was available for breakfast and often for dinner during the weekend I stayed. On the day I departed I needed to sleep in and fully expected I had missed breakfast. Nope, they had set things aside for when I was awakened. ||I really enjoyed spending time on the porch meeting and drinking with people. On Dauphin Island you can see the sea from almost anywhere, including the harbor house. The experience was so good I wanted to write a review, but I honestly don’t want too many people to know about this place so I can find vacancy when I’m ready to return.
Went with my husband as leaving Gulf Shores, rode the ferry across, and only one night was available. We managed to get a taste of DI. Great quaint place, clean, wonderful full cooked breakfast. Staff and owners treat you like you are one of the family. We did not get to do the aquarium/equestrian due to closed for renovations. Great bird sanctuary! A few nice eateries and nice island to visit. I wouldn’t recommend a week unless you fish or just want to relax. There’s not a lot to do. Overall great experience and a nice visit!
Our experience was incredible and the company and service was incredible! The lady was so kind and the food was great our boys had a blast and it’s a beautiful place with an incredible view 5/5 to me!!! Perfect bed and bedding pillows was so comfortable and cozy!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
