Datz - St. Pete - American restaurant in St. Petersburg - 180 Central Ave, USA

Nice vibes and a good place for urban people watching and right next door to the James Museum of Western Art. I was seated right away. The food would have been great if they had dialed back the salt. I will visit again, but now I know to ask for less (or no) salt.

Came here based on the ratings... the good: we were seated fast and they accommodated our time request and then sat us early, the vibe is ok, kind of a library feel to me, our server while friendly was "ok" the food and drinks (body marys) were sadly just ok, nothing to write home about. The presentation is great and it all looks really good, but in the end was lacking in flavor and overall taste. What does Mahe this spot cool is, that it's decently priced (especially for its location) and they offer a 15% military discount.

Brunch was amazing!! Not too busy early on a Sunday but Make a reservation just in case The food was so good. We had the Barbacoa and the MOAB (burrito) Service was quick and attentive … outdoor seating was available … nice but not the. Best ambiance.

Waffles & Tweet is divine!! I feel like they had me in mind when they created this delightfully balanced dish- crispy fried chicken tenders, delicious Belgian waffles, toasted pecans, bourbon syrup and even garnished with rosemary (my favorite herb)! The photo only shows half the meal- it was huge- and I forgot to take a picture before I dived into it.

Passed around to different servers, but our final server, Tara, was kind, patient, and checked on us just enough to make sure we were okay but not too much to hover. Sat outside and it was a nice florida evening. Spent quality time with family, received good, service, and good food in a clean environment.

We got the meatloaf, Cuban sandwich and my kid got the noodles with sauce. Food was good, nothing special. Atmosphere was nice and cozy.

Great restaurant. Great server. We were hungry for Alfredo. We shared the order. The picture shows half an order. It was huge and delicious. We ordered a side of broccoli to our dish. Worth checking it out.

Leaving 5 stars because our server took great care of us! Upon arrival, I requested a booth after being led to a table (had a toddler with me). We were told it would take her at least 20 minutes to start cleaning a booth. They were pretty busy but definitely not slammed. Plenty of open tables and booths inside and out. We ended up waiting on the booth and it only took her 5 minutes to seat us at a booth. The food was pretty good. The Thai salad was too sweet for my taste but definitely nothing wrong with it. Our server did correct the couple things that came out wrong in a timely manner. Overall the outdoor area seemed like it could use a deep cleaning. I probably won't eat here again but I can see how it would be a good brunch place for young adults.
