This was a wonderful place! The Po Boys were amazing! The beignets were different in texture, but tasted better than Cafe Du Monde's in my opinion. The host was amazing and made us feel very welcome. Would hope to come back sometime in the future:)

A real New Orleans spot, the owner is there serving and explaining the menu. Super clean Gorgeous spot, great parking, food is clean, tasty and good size portions. Awesome spot for a great meal. Do yourself a favor and give this place a chance. 10 of 10 on my scale.

This place is awesome! I tried a few different plates and they were all good. There are a lot of Cajun and Creole options on their menu. The atmosphere is awesome - decorations, music, and energy. The staff was helpful and kind. Location is big and clean. They also have a full service bar. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

The shrimp Po’Boys here are absolutely AMAZING! As well as the Jambalaya and tater salad. My wife and I just found this restaurant today and stopped in for a quick bite. We are both born and raised in New Orleans, so it’s always iffy when getting Louisiana foods in different states, but let me tell you WE WERE BLOWN AWAY at how amazing the food was! Actually we even think it’s better than a lot of places in the actual French quarter! The customer service is unmatched as well, the owner who is also from New Orleans was in and was so very kind, welcoming and really made us feel like family! Which is exactly what he said to us. It’s almost impossible to find anywhere that brings that kind of hospitality to the table, and this place is THE place to go for not only an amazing experience, but beautifully executed and flavorful food as well! They accommodated my request for the shrimp and catfish to be grilled, not fried. They were juicy and just right. Incredibly crispy, homemade corn bread. Great service too.

From the moment you step into Darrows you will feel a sense of community. The staff is extremely warm and personable. I immediately spotted the cornbread but up close and personal it's warm, moist and drizzled with syrup. The owner took my order and he was amazing; such a genuine spirit. I ordered the file gumbo, fried oysters and greens. The gumbo was filled with shrimp, crab legs and sausage. I would definitely recommend and will absolutely visit again.

We have been coming here since he opened. The food has always been very consistent and delicious. Also, let's not forget the delicious and addicting Rum Punch. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
