So glad I was able to finally check this place out! I’ve had the coffee at the local farmer’s market and it tasted great. Happy that the business expanded to a storefront location! As a coffee enthusiast, the cold brew hits the spot! The atmosphere is very chill and the staff is warm and friendly. Speaking of warm, my toddler, baby, and I sat right by the door along the windows and felt very comfortable without winter coats. Small detail but feeling cozy in a coffee shop is a plus for me and my family! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu <3
What a great place. The vibe instantly calms you when you walk in. The three men behind the counter were so niceeee!! I told my partner after we left, "Why can't people be nice like that all the time?" Food was fresh and delicious. Coffee was amazing. 👏 We will be back! Unfortunately, we live like 30 mins away, but we'd totally trade our regular coffee spot for this one. (Edit: I wanted to add a second picture... we went back the next morning... just as amazing!!)
Delicious coffee & amazing food!!!! Fig & Brie grilled cheese sandwich was so good! The staff are very friendly, and even gave out free biscuits😋
My husband and I stopped by Dark Horse today for lunch just because we've heard great things and love trying out new places to eat. Well I don't often write reviews but this place deserves my time to write this! What an amazing gem we have in Sayville. We walked in and it just had a cool modern vibe. There was three guys behind the counter and they immediately greeted us and made us feel very welcome. They showed us all the menu options and even made suggestions which was actually very helpful. They made the food to order and it was delicious! Super fresh tasting and way better than a sit down have a waiter come take your order kinda place. Even my husband who is super picky loved it! We will definitely be back! Great job guys!
For all you Brazilian jiujitsu folks this is the spot on Long Island. Great service great food and an excellent atmosphere. Andre and Tim truly care about the customer experience and have fine attention to detail. Doesn't matter what time of day they always give you a warm greeting and a very attentive to whatever you desire off their menu. I highly recommend you try there new special sandwich the giddy up. It is heaven on Earth. Their coffee is always warm and hot and they're cold brew will hit the spot. What I also like about them is that they provide organic options gluten-free options and have besides coffee a cool selection of other beverages. Tell them Skippy dynamite sent you. Best new coffee shop around town
What can I say... Starbucks eat your heart out. Dark horse has the freshest unique and flavorful food options paired with perfect pastries, and beautiful brews. Masala chai is what I expect from an Indian brew. Spices are blended perfectly for a burst of flavor that is a testament to all chai! It's that good. Salads for later (at work), breakfast plates with the right amount of love and care. I keep coming back. Best breakfast before work and lunch to take with me.
Amazing experience at Dark Horse! Food was fresh, delicious, various and original options. Service was super good, everyone is super friendly, eager to help and recommend. Love the ambiance of their spot, specially the music. I highly recommend!!! 💖
Great coffee, great food (specifically the avocado toasts), awesome service, chill vibe - do I need to say more? I’m normally a basic coffee with milk no sugar girl but OMG get the peanut butter latte!!! Literal heaven! Dark Horse is my new go-to spot!! Love coming here before starting my work day!!

Good place for MTN biking, lots of fun trails. Wash outs, berms and the occasional wooden structures over streams. Some uphill climbing that's worth it when you find the downhill deer trails. Recommend checking out.
It's a really nice place to walking, have pictures taken, historical area with some fun facts and houses from all over Long Island. There's an old school house/chapel you can rent to get married in. Think Little House on the prairie. Great for events
Loved having brunch here! We missed the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island and ended up staying the night in a nearby hotel. We were searching for a place near the Sayville ferry and this popped up. It was worth every moment. The place was PACKED
Clean and nice place to have delicious rolls! We ordered garlic edamame, spicy girl roll and mango hawaiian roll and it was all delicious. People are nice and friendly too. Iâd love to come back again. ð£
1st time I've eaten there and it was really good! There was a 30 minute wait at around 6:45 on a Saturday night so we sat at the bar. Selina, the bartender was attentive. Ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich with cheddar and a salad. The sandwich was
When you walk in, itâs that one smell you need to experience. Youâll know that answer is hot bagels. They have so many different flavors to choose from and I had their beignets and they tasted really good. You may not find a lot of seating, but a
