Dario Pizza Pasta Panini - Pizza restaurant in Toms River - 1358 Hooper Ave, USA

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We were just going to get a couple of slices. Although there were a lot of options non appealed to us. The slices all looked like they've been sitting there, some looked like they were there from the day before. We opted for a whole pie and it was okay.

Late Lunch, spent the morning taking most of Christmas Decorations down and needed to take a break. Drove out to Hooper Avenue, Tom's River to try this location. Kit had a plain slice and I had a Everything Slice and a Sausage Slice. Crust was crispy, soft and moist. Topping's were tasty, sauce had an excellent taste and the cheese was very good. Before leaving, Kit had a second plain slice and I had to try one for my third piece. The taste and quality of a plain slice is the Hallmark of any establishment and tells a lot about the pride a Family Business has in what they produce. Dough, Sauce, Cheese they are all simple in nature, but each when added to a pizza makes the mouth water and taste buds cheer for another. Again, the right crisp, flavors and texture's prevail!!!

Dario makes a nice pie. Stop by when you are at Target or Lowe’s.

I like the variety of pizza slices available and quality of most of the ingredients in the sandwiches but I just have to point out that the bread was really not good quality at all for an Italian pizzeria

This is from an incident back 6 months ago. It still bothers partner and I. We ordered our food and drinks. Food was okay, but what bothered us was after we started eating the pizza, the guy who handed us our pizza was picking his teeth with his fingers. He didn't wear gloves when serving food. He was handling food after touching the inside of his mouth. Ruined our apatite. When we mentioned it to who we think was the manager, he just shrugged. The employee never washed his hands after touching his mouth. We walked and sat in my car where I wrote a review on Yelp. We saw a family walk in and the guy who put his fingers in his mouth handled their food, again, WITHOUT washing his hands. Many other pizza places that are much more sanitary.

If you love specialty pizza, this is where it's at!! Ingredients are so fresh, crust is absolutely perfect. The slices are cheese steak and chicken bacon ranch.. out of this world delicious!

I have had pizza from all over, this was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time! I will definitely be going back, found my new spot! The owner was very nice as well.

Underrated spot for local takeout Italian dishes. Baked pasta dishes and chicken are all good and come with fresh salads and bread.
