A bunch of co-workers suggested this place to me. I stopped by during my break and got the black raspberry. It certainly lived up to all of the hype! I chatted with a few other guests while I waited for my ice cream and found that Dariette keeps a rotating menu of seasonal flavors. I'm honestly excited to try all of them before the season is up!
Absolutely the best ice cream I've ever had, hands down! I feel cheated that I'm not from here and have not enjoyed their ice cream all my life. If you're in the area, you absolutely must make it a point to stop here!
Well all I can say is the same thing everyone else says! Everything you get here is amazing! The prices are super reasonable, and it tastes great! Staff is always kind, and even though the lines are often long, you speed through!
It’s all convenient that they have a drive through line, too!
Try any of their unique flavors like lemon or cotton candy if you want something new that is sure to be good!!
Classic, hometown favorite soft serve ice cream spot in Fort Dodge. They offer about 12 different flavors, some that change. I got a kid's size chocolate. Hubby got a "small" chocolate malt (HUGE!) & a turtle sundae, which was great, lots of caramel. Dau got lemon & blackberry waffle cone (they swirl the flavors if you get two).
*Note: she said she would've gotten a different combo if she knew they'd be swirled.
They have no indoor seating, but the patio is very pleasant with tables & lots of wooden Adirondack chairs. The other option is the drive-through, which always had a long life- for good reason.
They only have soft-serve ice cream here. Very pleasant treat for the family on a hot summer day, or any time. They're open year round and there are some free parking spots, too.
I gave 4 stars only because of the limited menu selection, but if it's only ice cream you want, they're 5 stars for what they provide.
Best ice cream we have had in a really long time!!! Great prices, well worth the trip! Peanut butter malt was amazing!!!
Yummy!!!! It's a Fort Dodge icon. Everything they make is delicious! It's always fun to drive by and see the long line of cars at the drive thru, but the real treat is walking up to the window and sitting on the patio to eat it. You'll always see friendly, smiling faces. People come from near and far to enjoy the unique offerings each week. Check their Facebook page to see what the special flavors of the week are. Dairy free pineapple 🍍 OH my!!!!
Place was busy but the line went quick. Place was clean. We sat until our cones were done. Not the biggest menu of ice cream . Kind of tough to spot from the street. Worth the stop.
The malts are huge. Lots of flavors of ice cream,a must stop when in Fort Dodge.
We are very pleased with our new refrigerator. Steve has something for everyone. They have used refrigerators to new refrigerators with a few dents. We were in need of a refrigerator for the garage and got a really nice new refrigerator. The sale pro
Everything was good! Cheese coney, onion rings, shake/malt! Staff was very friendly! One suggested coney meat and cheese on the fries (not really on the menu) but great suggeation! :)
Another Beautiful Rock!
The father of the soldier on this side of the rock seen me here, he stopped to say hello. We had a pleasant conversation. Stop by, he'll greet you too.
The branch manager was real helpful. Explain everything in good detail. Definitely got my attention to become a tenant. Thanks for helping me find my next home
Update: still love the cookies. So appreciate that they have orders of 6 or 12 boxed/packaged and ready to go!
Cute spot with lots of party supplies too! Love that they had boxes of cookies ready to go- sold by the dozen for $18.
The cookies are pre
Absolutely a clean and inviting park! Lots if trails, gold course, shelter houses, public bathrooms, boat docks, beautiful scenery, dog stations for picking up and tossing their business. Wonderful experiences every time!
Nice local Bar & Grill atmosphere, food was amazing, staff was great. Only negative remark I have & this is from not being a local is that only take cash or check. No debit or credit cards, but there is an ATM inside the establishment. Definitely the
Friendship Haven has been a blessing for my family. I consider myself lucky to have this nonprofit continuing care community near me, especially when my parents reached retirement. My dad eventually needed assisted living and then skilled care, which
