Danza del Sol Winery - Winery in Temecula - 39050 De Portola Rd, USA

Visited here during the De Portola Tour. It was nice but just didn’t fit our fancy. It’s wine. We encourage you to always try different because we are all different and our tastes prove it.

Great experience! This was our first time wine tasting and the staff was fantastic. Pro tip: buy one of the pre-packaged salami and cheese. It was about $10, but really enhanced the experience and taste for us. We got this tasting as part of the horseback trail tour next door and it was just a fantastic deal. Well worth it!

Temecula was our family's holiday destination this year and we had a blast. My husband and I are fortunate enough to have wine tasting experiences in the US and Europe so thought Temecula would be a pleasant local experience to take our young adult children. Danza del Sol knocked it out of the park! It was the highlight of Temecula for us and one of the best winery experiences we've ever had. We were greeted and hosted by the friendly, knowledgable, and professional somms, Walter and Ben. We started in the tasting room and then our group of seven moved out to the vineyards by ATVs. There we continued with the tastings but with a much more tangible opportunity to learn about Temecula's history and vineyards and Danza's soul and wines. The whites, sweet and dry, were a hit but my favorites were the Cab Franc, which I think is a difficult single to do this well, and the Super Tuscan. Thanks, Danza (especially Walter and Ben) for helping us make such wonderful memories and learn about your fabulous wines.

This winery is fantastic! We dropped in for a late Valentine's Day adventure and went on a tour with HB (Heather Brittany, if I remember correctly). Her energy was out of this world, and her knowledge of wine both from the artistic and technical sides was incredible. We also heard about a speak easy/distillary opening up next year that sounds lovely. We unfortunately had to run to another obligation before we could finish exploring the grounds, so we will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you're in the area - the selection of wines was wide varied and most everything we tried was delicious!

Really enjoyed our tasting at this location on our Grapeline wine tour. It was the second winery out of three. This was also the location where our charcuterie picnic snacks were distributed so we loved nibbling on meat and cheese while sipping wine tastings. Indoor space was large enough for many large groups to gather with shared bar or table space. It was too hot to explore the outdoor area but it looked nice. Will return.

I think the environment and wine are both perfect and the first waitress who served me showed her passion and professional. She introduced me the details about this winery patiently and warmly. But the reason I gave 2 stars is that the second waitress( white, not tall woman ) was very rude to me( nearly the worst attitude I met in LA area) and left me a very bad impression when checked out. It seems like I owe her 1000 dollars! Honestly I wouldn’t bought anything if I was served by this woman first, but I bought 2 bottles and gave tips totally because the waitress I met at first. My husband and I took the wine tour and did a tasting for our anniversary. Our guide, Sean, was SO incredible knowledgeable, funny, and personable which made our experience truly unique and enjoyable. We walked away with four bottles of delicious local wine, a souvenir glass, and a handful of lovely memories. If you’re in the area (or even if you’re not!), please consider checking this winery out. You won’t regret it!
