This place was awesome! Very spacious, clean friendly and fast. Went in for a lunch and the staff was awesome (friendly, quick and attentive). Not long at all to push out 4 orders. The food was extremely good. The Michigan Wrap, chicken sandwich, Rubin and chicken wrap; all were amazing. Great flavor and good portions for the price. Looks like they have space for rent for retirement parties and or birthday parties. Front and back entrance.

We just had the best dinner at the nicest place! Dans Downtown Tavern in Saline. We had yummy appetizers the Chips and Queso along with the Maple glazed Potato skins. They were yummy!! There were so many appetizers to pick from it was hard to choose. For dinner we had the Prime Rib that was cooked to perfection along with the best Brisket I have ever had! Kudos to the chef! My husband said that was the best Prime Rib he has had in years! Our waitress Vonnie was so attentive and so sweet! So refreshing. She made sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for a great place to relax and have fantastic food and wonderful service Dans Downtown Tavern is the place to go! Top notch food along with top notch people!!!

Best burgers in the area. Try the Peanut Butter burger, it is so delicious. I also love the stuffed jalapeños. We always have friendly service here!

Wow. Excellent. And yes, I'm talking about Brussels Sprouts. The Taco Salad was great, too. Excellent food, excellent service. I highly recommend Dan's Downtown to everyone. Now, can I get an order of Sprouts to go??

Some of the best Caucasian cuisine I've ever had. No seasoning on the food helps bring out the flavor of the food itself. The waitresses were friendly, but I prefer my women a bit younger if you know what I mean

This place is awful. The menu states one thing and what you get will be completely different. The management won’t help if something is wrong and everyone is miserable and they blame all their mistakes on the servers. The kitchen sent out wrong food to all the surrounding tables, as well and the server had to take all the blame for these awful mistakes. I will never go here. No Dan we didn’t eat 90% of our food and it might be in your best interest to educate all your staff on the menu. Especially your BOH staff who seemed to have no idea what comes on the menu and what doesn’t. You’re committing fraud by selling food that you aren’t actually serving.

Ordered burger med. rare. It came well done. Sent it back with onions rings still on plate. It came back well done again, with literally COLD (like just out of the refrigerator) mushrooms and NO onion rings. 🤷‍♀️. Just ate half and left. Waitress was nice but not concerned with the bad food.

I've come in to this place four times over the course of a week while I was around the area on vacation, And one trend just kept recurring, The Kitchen they have in front of the bar, Is not cleaned regularly at all, The fryer vents are caked in grease that could be a fire hazard, The flat top is pitch black and just disgusting, The fryers looked like they haven't been properly detailed in at least two weeks. The food itself I ordered was varied each time, I usually went with the pizza, Which was alright for what it was, But the beer cheese and pretzels, No seasoning or salt whatsoever, And the cheese itself was congealed and dark, Like it wasn't stirred at all. I'd say the complaints about burgers is pretty well known since the Owner put a note up about people mis-temping burgers, But if there is one upside: It's the staff, The bartenders do an exceptional job with the service they offer and do try their best, I'd honestly rate it higher if the cleanliness of that kitchen was better and the food wasn't just dismal for the price, Before the price raises a few years ago, This place was actually pretty solid for what it was, But if I'm paying 15 dollars for an entree that isn't prepared and made in a clean kitchen with good effort behind it, Then I can't condone it. I feel like quality has gone down in the last few years. In summary: The staff do a good job, But I feel like lots of corners are cut.
