Very bright, friendly, and cozy atmosphere! We had a great weekday dinner here. All foods were fresh and tasty- that encouraged us to refill dishes several times. 😋 My best pick were tomato soup and coleslaw. This place is good for any types of gatherings from casual to special events. The important part is that here only accepts cash, so either prepare beforehand or use the 🏧 in the restaurant.
Had a great breakfast at the round table! They seated seven of us and started placing food on the lazy Susan. We spun it around and enjoyed cinnamon rolls, eggs, grits, sausage, gravy, country ham, bacon, pancakes, coffee and orange juice. The strawberry preserves are fantastic and you can tell the biscuits are homemade and buttery. Great spot!
Really nice restaurant with tons of history and tradition. The format is fun, the food is good and plentiful (all you can eat). My family and I have been here before and had very positive memories, and this visit was probably even better. We were seated pretty quickly and we knew exactly what to expect. Our server was a really charming older-lady, really nice.
Labor day busy of course at lunch time what would you expect. The fried chicken and potatoes was probably the best. The vegetables green beans, corn were just that and nothing special. The apple slices had more skin than apples in most of the bowl. Dessert was alright. When we arrived we saw an employee using a grill in the back porch loading area which was strange enough, yet still didn't have an answer to that question as to why. I remember 12 years ago it was more classy with a nice atmosphere and less country. Probably has been performing like that since the original owner passed away. Overall nothing bad just not as what was remembered from before. 24 dollars for all you can eat from small bowls..may pass next time to this old tradition of visiting Boone which saddens me.
Great home cooking? If you’re going to be in the Boone area, you have to eat here. It’s all-you-can-eat family style for a reasonable price. They cover your table with bowls of food. You can eat what you want and get more if you run out of any items. Your drink and desserts are also included. We enjoyed it so much that we ate their twice for dinner and once for breakfast during our trip.
I went here for the first time last weekend. It was such a unique and delicious experience. The line is a bit long but it went by quickly. The food was so good! I enjoyed every dish. I'll definitely be going back to Dan'l Boone Inn next time I visit Boone.
You want a family style place with down home country cooking? Check. Service with a smile? Check? Want to leave feeling full and only a touch guilty? Check. There’s a reason this place has been here so long. Now to roll myself outside…
The food was amazing! There was so much food, so much delicious food. Even my picky 6 and 15 year old daughters cleaned their plates. The biscuits were so fluffy and tasted so good. I cannot wait to go back. We also had strawberry shortcake for dessert and it was a hit as well. Sweet tea to drink, probably the best I've had. I would highly recommend this family style restaurant.
My son is 5 years old and he enjoys coming to this class a lot. The instructor not only teaches martial arts, but takes moments to teach about respect in class, how to talk to others, and essentially how to interact with others.
The Sri Sri School of Yoga offers comprehensive training programs. The one I took was the 200H SSY Yoga TTC (Teacher Training Course) and I just completed and graduated from this course. This is a complete balanced course that connected all the dots
