Daniel Boone Visitor Information Center - Tourist information center in Ewing - State Rd 872, USA

Went there on Sunday afternoon and walked up to Gap Cave. Half a mile one way, very easy and the cave entrance is cool, very refreshing after being out in the heat. Cave was closed, likely they only do guided tours.

Nice cool spot to stop. I love the sculptures and the info boards. Also trail head for trails. Enjoy!

Very nice and informative. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try the trails. The restrooms were well maintained. Just a two minute drive from the small town of Cumberland Gap. You'll love it.

As I was leaving Cumberland Gap I stopped by the Daniel Boone Visitor Information Center. If I hadn’t just worn my girls out walking around Cumberland we probably would have walked here too. There is a trail that goes back in town and there are trails that cut through the forest. You’ll never run out of places to walk in Cumberland.

There were postings all around regarding copperhead snakes. So I didn't venture past the entrance to the trail. Beautiful will go back in the fall

A great place to get out of your car and stretch your legs. Very interesting with the tree growth chart and the metal Indians we took pictures with. Oh and all along the concrete it looks like horse hooves and bare feet and baby feet and paw prints all over super cute.

Couldn't get into the main building because of the government shutdown (😪) but there was plenty of parking and lots of interpretive signs plus cool metal silhouettes that were patterned after the drawings on the interpretive signs. There are a few trails that lead from here, a bathroom and a water fountain. There's a long, winding staircase that leads you down to the town of Cumberland Gap which looked like a fun way to get around.
