The trail itself was nice and easy to ride even with it raining slightly during the trip. It took about 2-3 hours to complete (25mile trip) so be sure to keep that in mind and there are plenty rest stops in between.
Beautiful idyllic area to go for a walk or bike ride. Much of the trail is under the tree canopy so lots of shade. A few areas of sunny exposure so a hat or sunglasses are helpful. Numerous spots to stop and rest or take in the peaceful scenery. May get lucky and see a train pass when you make it to the tracks. Smooth and comfortable for a bike ride and plenty of miles if you’re looking for a good workout.
Beautiful trail!! We stay at Jim Thorpe and we took advantage of this great trail!! We did almost 100 miles!!
What an incredible day for an evening hike just gorgeous! Started the Tannery walked out to the crystal dig site and Back Again to stop at the gorgeous waterfall. My poor dog is exhausted but I just think it's been a beautiful evening!

Nice trailhead beautiful views of the river along here. You will hear ppl on the river kayaking and tubing.

The white heaven trail head is closed due to construction. You can assess D&L trail from here. The park lot is not big, trail is maintained very well, and fit for multiple use such as biking, hiking, running. The trail is along with Leigh river . You may access the river side through little paths.
