Was an awesome experience in a great location. Walk-out access from the room right into the pool/lounge area was great. Walking distance to so many great locations so it is a perfect spot wether traveling through or staying for awhile. Convenient parking as well. Will definitely come back when in the area again

I managed to get a room last minute however I was appalled at how old and run down this place is. The location is good being that it is in the marina. My experience with the front seat was good. The gentleman At the front desk was kind and helpful. It was apparent that house keeping was doing their best to make an old dingy inn look clean. I just could not stay here so I left immediately and checked out with a full refund. If the Inn could do a remodel this would be fun, great spot to stay.

Staff super friendly, room good size, laundry on premises, amenities great. Walking my dog was always a fun adventure. Breakfast had many options. We really like this place!

The manager has an issue with everybody. Extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. The other staff members were just fine and even very courteous. We didn’t need any special services or requests, and still the manager found ways to make our stay miserable. The hotel is very old and run down, the shower drain failed and water pooled, the location is fantastic though. We didn’t complain about the drain, but the card-key failed several times and the manager refused to replace the keys in the morning when we were locked out without collecting another days pay, despite being hours prior to checkout time. The manager had me standing in pajamas waiting for the key in the lobby for over 30 minutes and was unpleasant and offended each customer in line while we waited. The manager with short white hair. He hates his job and takes his anger out on everyone else.

It was more a giant suite than a hotel room . With a full kitchen , big refrigerator , microwave , cookware, two balconies, California king bed gigantic living room, two big screens ,all the restaurants you could want....in walking distance, view of the harbor and pool. I grew up in Dana Point , stayed here many times and loved it every time. Thank You All !!!! 😎😃😎

Great place to stay in harbor, walking distance to everything. No drinking and driving. Older not fancy , but seem to be doing their maintenance. Holiday season comes with lights and entertainment.

A lot of the reviews run down this extremely well positioned. Being next to the harbour this is not a first class Waldorf Astoria place. However it has good large rooms, it is clean and within walking distance of most Dana Point restaurants and venues. Basic cooked breakfast is included… waffles, bagels, scrambled eggs, pork patties, cereals, oatmeal, coffee,tea, juices etc.|It looks a bit tired in parts but is excellent value for money. |Will stay again for sure

We had a remodeled (single bed) room with a counter that included a sink. We were informed that housekeeping would not be available for our room when we checked in (perhaps we were not staying long enough; we stayed two nights). Room was a little musty but turning the wall-mounted AC helped a lot. The hangers in the closet were a disaster (kept falling off the circular brackets, dropping my nice clothes onto the ground). Best thing about this hotel is definitely the location, and the staff are very friendly & helpful!
