It’s a delightful trail for an evening walk. Positioned at the top, it offers breathtaking panoramic views that you can truly relish. Take a leisurely stroll or simply sit and immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings. The area boasts incredible photography spots, making it a perfect spot for capturing memorable moments.
the place itself is quiet and peaceful. the trail is a nice walk but the arches it's like so over rated. but nevertheless a nice view to relax and a good walk in a nice neighborhood and a nearby places to eat. 3.5/5
Awesome views!
It’s a great place to take a stroll, learn a little California history, sit on one of the benches and take in views of the harbor and marina below, or watch the sunset.
Located in the Lantern District of Dana Point, in a residential neighborhood. Plenty of street parking available and I was surprised that It was not very crowded for a Sunday afternoon.
Definitely worth stopping.
I consider this stop a necessary addition to the Dana Point Bluff Top Trail as it offers another great view of the water and boats below as well as a view looking toward the Bluff Top Trail. When I was here I saw a couple taking some photos of themselves with a hired photographer.
i'm so glad i was able to find this hidden gem. i was expecting the location to be swarmed with people as it was nearing sunset but the longer we walked the small walking path, the less people we saw. it's an awesome view of the harbor and the arches themselves have an interesting history. i really thought there was more to them but it's literally just about 3-4 of them. the real draw is the seclusion and the view that you are able to take in. i highly suggest seeing this for yourself.
Great photo op spot with incredible views of the harbor! You walk down like 2 flights of stairs to a little wood bridge with palm trees and plant life thriving underneath to get to the archs, where you can read a brief history on when the arch’s were made.
Dana Point is becoming one 0f my favorite beaches to visit. Lots of great areas to walk. The strand, Dana Harbor, The Historic Arches and of course the Beach and it's Beauty.
Lots of activity with respectful people wearing masks and keeping our distance.
It’s not just beautiful to see and enjoy! It has history to learn. Very interesting story about the mission’s epoch and their survival. It’s behind the Inn.

Great place for a couple good pints. Three of us visited and tried a blonde, and IPA, a fruited sour and an imperial stout. We liked them all. Great flavor on the imperial stout!
Wonder nature reserve to check out. Everything is very natural. The atmosphere was very calm and collective. I love how they are trying to protect all of the amazing wildlife that surrounds Dana point. Snakes, birds, and mice all inhabit the area, a
The coaches at this studio (Alex, Courtney, Emma) are amazing and while itâs still a group class, they still take the time to walk the room and pay attention to make sure everyone is following the correct posture during the workout and doing it cor
Great place for a walk with some areas for viewing the ocean side. The walking trail at this park is a switchback and very relaxing. The grass areas are a slope but can be walked on for some serious decline/incline workout. I saw some people being th
Great place for the family. Walk along the marina, have lunch or ice cream! You can go kayaking, stand up paddle boarding or whale watching! Visit the Ocean Institute, learn about the tall ships docked at the learning center. Or just watch the waves
Such a wonderful park and beach!
It seems to be quieter than others in the area and has a nice big (free) parking lot at the entrance. There are washrooms and a rinse off station in the parking lot and a couple of different access points to the beach
