Great park, very clean and family friendly, our dog even had a great time. The park has some sneezing views to be scene, there's even a skate park there... We enjoyed a picnic lunch under the pavilion by the children's park, the children played on the playground and I played guitar to my wife as she sang pleasantries to the passer bys... And the to cat quoth,"Nevermore..." Also you can pay respect to do the brave Virginia man and women who died and in which war...
Nice place. Lots of picnic shelters. Great playground area for children. Plenty of parking. Several baseball fields and baseball stadium for Danville Otterbots. Nicely kept, well maintained. Easily accessible. Public restrooms. Charcoal grills at every shelter. Veterans Memorial Park is within, what a plus! 5 stars.
Amazing park!! Has a small, beginner friendly skatepark, amazing trails with a beautiful river. Has a playground, baseball field, a small baseball stadium of minor league, a soccer/football field, and beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend.

We love coming here my kids always have a blast! We go walking on trails, run wild on the playground, watch the Braves Baseball game. There's always something to do. It's also a great place to have birthday parties and family reunions!
Amazing Park! We loved walking through the memorial wall. It was absolutely breath taking. The Dan River bike trail also runs behind this park and they have bikes that you can rent using the Zagster app.
