Dallas Grilled Cheese Co. (Mockingbird Station) - Gastropub in Dallas - 5319 E Mockingbird Ln, USA

First things first, their onion rings were the best I've ever had. I loved them so much I was nice enough to share them. The grilled cheeses were good but could've had more depth in chair considering the amazing ingredients they cleverly paired. Other than that, I left feeling satisfied and not grossly full. I'd really like to go back and give some of their other menu options a taste.

Girls Night Out! We picked this place because of location and HH until 7pm, or so we thought. Upon arrival, there was only one couple in the restaurant. We were seated and handed menus but not a HH menu. When the waitress came over, we asked for a HH menu and without saying anything, she pointed to the QR Code on the table... after scanning the code, it still wasn't clarified what was on HH. I specifically asked how big of a glass they had for the HH pricing, debating on getting a draft beer of something I wasn't a fan of for $4 or do I just pay $5 for something I want, knowing it'll only be 12oz. The response I got from the waitress was the glass was 8oz. I knew she didn't know what she was talking about, we asked for a new person. She was assisted the rest of the night with our orders. Food and craft cocktails were delicious! We were told HH ended at 6, even though it's 7 on the website. Apparently the GM hasn't updated it? If you plan on visiting, make sure you call ahead to check on those HH times. Final comment, when going to the restroom, I saw it was "in use" but I only waited a few seconds and a male waiter come walking out of the female restroom. 🙄 #Cheers

Enjoyed the grilled cheese (with candied bacon and jalapeño) and also tomato basil soup and some salad (with goat cheese and berries) we ordered. Loved that the wait staff took the initiative to split our salad and grilled cheese Sammie into two portions since it was two of us dining.. very thoughtful and this is the type of service that deserves a good tip!

Absolutely delicious! Service was very fast and the servers were wonderful! This is such a great little spot to grab something quick and delicious to eat. I HIGHLY recommend the macaroni and cheese with the added brisket. So good. ♥️

Went in here for lunch on a Thursday and sat at the bar. The bartender seemed very busy and I waited maybe 10 minutes to be greeted. I had a glass of wine for $5 and ordered the value combo which is half a rustic grilled cheese and a cup of soup for $10. My meal tasted great but had to wait awhile to payout. Maybe they’re short on staff but if you’re trying to be in and out for lunch this might not be the spot. They seem to have a pretty good happy hour though Monday-Friday from 3pm-7pm offering drinks ranging from $4-$6.

Very great place! Loved the pimento sandwich and tomato soup. Wouldn't recommend the cheeseburger since it's basic but everything else is amazing! They make their own ranch and onion rings are super crispy.

Really great food. I had the Texas Chili and the Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese sandwich. It was a great little lunch spot.

I'm a lover of grilled cheeses so when I heard about this place I got so excited. Surprisingly, for a place in Dallas it was quite affordable, It also had very nice decor, and atmosphere. The grilled cheeses were really good. My friend had the Mac and cheese, and he enjoyed it too. Personally I had the brie one with some sweet potato fries that were very crunchy. Honestly a pretty good restaurant, the portions look small, but it's very filling! Would come again.
