This was such a fun experience. The man that worked here was so knowledgeable and kind. I really enjoyed seeing all of these fire trucks especially the horse drawn carriage fire truck. The tickets were $6 each which is a deal for this experience!!!

Intresting museum. I wish they had more staff when I went in the morning to give some additional information. Overall, this one isn't as good as the San Antonio Fire Museum. That one had more artifacts and vehicles.

Great place for a toddler birthday party. They get to climb on the engines, and the party room is huge! Only thing to keep in mind is that the museum is still open to the public even if you have the space scheduled for a party.

I was under the impression that this museum was free (the google question and answer people said it was free and donations were accepted). 2 adults and 1 three year old we paid $12 not bad and completely worth it. My son had so much fun. The person in charge there gave us a brief history on the museum. He was so nice. There’s jackets and helmets for kids to put on and you can get on some of the fire engines. It was a experience. I highly recommend this place specially for little ones.

It was a fun experience, our son loved looking at all the memorabilia. The ticket price were affordable! About $20 for two adults and one child.

This museum is great for the whole family and the workers are very friendly and willing to answer the questions of a 6 year old and adults alive. It is definitely worth your time and money.

This place is awesome, took my 2 yo and 5 yo here and they had an awesome moment, you can ring the bells, get on the trucks, watch all the equipment firefighters have to use and they explain everything to you so well you learn a lot, price is 6 dlls per adult and its so worth it

This was our first visit to the Dallas Firefighters Museum. I brought my daughter and 9yo son with me on this visit. I was a little worried that my 9yo would get bored easily and loose interest, but that never happened. We were all fully engaged and found the entire visit educational and entertaining. Upon entering the building, we were warmly greeted by two former Firefighters. We paid the entry fee and signed the visitors book. Mike, also a former Firefighter, was our tour guide. He started the tour in the photo room area where he told us a few quick stories about some of the photos on the walls. He then took us inside where we were able to see and touch lots of artifacts and learn the stories behind them. It was fantastic! The entire tour was only my kids and I, so we felt like we received the VIP/Red Carpet experience. As we moved on to each section, Mike stopped and asked us if we had any questions, which we always did. Mike was very patient with us and extremely knowledgeable about everything we were looking at. The stories he told us were fun and interesting, he was fantastic with my 9yo son. 1/2 way through the tour, Mike took us into the theatre where we watched a cute kid friendly film on fire safety. This film was also a reminder to me of some things I do wrong in my own home such as overloading a power outlet. It also reminded me to sit down with my family to come up with a fire escape plan for our home. I highly recommend the Dallas Firefighters Museum because it’s a great look at our past, as well as a brief look into what FireFighters go through to protect us and keep us safe. I give Mike 5 Stars because he is a great educator and did a great job keeping the tour fun, interesting, hands on, and engaging. The fact that he was able to even keep my 9yo engaged earns him another 5 Stars! We spent a couple hours here with Mike, and I could’ve listened to him all day. Thanks Mike! I highly recommend you check them out. There is something for everyone here. They have some future plans to expand the museum. It’s exciting to see how they will grow. We will be back again in the future.

Super cool museum! The detail and descriptions given for all the pieces really help you understand the craftsmanship and the art that went into the armor. They also had a short film showing the process of making the iron from iron sand in a furnace.

I loved my experience here at IRC. Everything was very clean, including well-kept bathrooms. I visited with my younger cousins who were 7 and 12 and my grandparents who were in their 50s. It was a fun trip for the entire family. We were all marveled

Interesting and moving, plenty to learn and appreciate. When you look out of the window (7th floor or to the right on the 6th floor) it feels as if you are stepping back in time. The $25 entrance fee feels a little high. Exit is a bottleneck elevator

Speakeasy inside a restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. Cool presentation of drinks. The cocktail menu is a bit limited because of the Branca focus. And unfortunately no bar seating - only tables. However, still a nice speakeasy worth checking out
