Beautiful space with art so thoughtfully displayed. This would be a great date spot! We went with a small group, and it was easy to spread out since the space isn’t too huge. Admission is free, but make sure to book your tickets in advance. There is a free parking lot connected to the museum and another free lot directly adjacent to the museum.

Amazing gallery with rotating collections. They are having a day/night series right now that has pop up shops where you can get books, local art or even adopt puppies! One of my favorite galleries in Dallas. I'll post a few pictures but you should really go check it out yourself since it is technically free but be sure to make a donation when you come.

Such a fun experience! If you love art and want a more modern or fun style I would absolutely recommend this place!! Very calm atmosphere and not overly crowded like some other places!

Dallas Contemporary is a captivating intersection of art, innovation, and social commentary. Nestled within an industrial backdrop, this gallery serves as a dynamic canvas for contemporary artists to express their ideas on the ever-evolving world around us. The industrial-style ambiance of the space immediately sets the tone for an immersive experience that is both thought-provoking and visually striking. The large-scale installations and exhibitions, carefully curated, offer a kaleidoscope of perspectives that challenge traditional norms and foster conversations on pressing issues. Beyond its aesthetics, Dallas Contemporary is more than just an art gallery; it's a beacon of cultural exploration. Its mission to present the art of our time to the public is evident in its rotating exhibitions, each providing a fresh lens through which to view our society's most pertinent subjects. The commitment to inclusivity shines through its diverse learning programs, catering to visitors of all ages and backgrounds. What truly distinguishes Dallas Contemporary is its dedication to addressing the pulse of contemporary issues. As one of the fastest growing metroplexes in the nation, this institution steps up to the plate, grappling with timely and complex matters that resonate with the local community and beyond. The gallery understands that artists are society's chroniclers and transformers, and it provides them with a platform to voice their ideas and visions. In a world where change is constant and viewpoints are as diverse as they are abundant, Dallas Contemporary stands as a testament to the power of art to engage, provoke, and inspire. It's not just a gallery; it's a catalyst for critical conversations and a mirror reflecting our multifaceted existence. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a curious mind, or someone seeking a meaningful connection with contemporary issues, Dallas Contemporary is an essential destination that captures the essence of our time.

Absolutely love coming to the Dallas Contemporary Museum!🖤 This museum always steals my heart with its fashion exhibits and unique art! The phenomenal simplicity aesthetic completes every exhibition to the max!!! I’m always excited to see a new exhibit at this location in Dallas!🥰

Art is in the eye of the beholder and the exhibitions at this museum showcase that so well. Art should be accessible and this museum does a good job of make sure of it. The exhibitions were very intriguing and I made it a point to read every description. It’s free to enter but I highly recommended donating (museum recommends $5) using a card or cash. The greeter at the door was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any question. I will definitely be back to check out the next exhibits.

Super cool museum! The detail and descriptions given for all the pieces really help you understand the craftsmanship and the art that went into the armor. They also had a short film showing the process of making the iron from iron sand in a furnace.

I loved my experience here at IRC. Everything was very clean, including well-kept bathrooms. I visited with my younger cousins who were 7 and 12 and my grandparents who were in their 50s. It was a fun trip for the entire family. We were all marveled

Interesting and moving, plenty to learn and appreciate. When you look out of the window (7th floor or to the right on the 6th floor) it feels as if you are stepping back in time. The $25 entrance fee feels a little high. Exit is a bottleneck elevator
