Was riding through Whiteville and decided I wanted popcorn shrimp for lunch. Did not disappoint. For $12.75 I got a full salad bar plus my double order of fried shrimp. Coleslaw was sweet with a nice flavor profile.
My waitress was very friendly and refilled my water when it was halfway everytime even though she had many other tables. Definitely a hidden gem in North Carolina. 5 star review
Steamed oysters are always great at Dale's Seafood. One half oyster roast was a good size dish for my wife and I to share. We also shared a senior flounder.
First time I've had lunch at Dale's Seafood. I had chicken and pastry, creamed corn, squash, and ice water. Overall the meal was good. The chicken could have had a little bit of seasoning and parts of the pastry was not that good. They didn't get the order correctly with my dad but the waitress corrected the order. They had some good options for lunch or just choose seafood. I recommend just restaurant.
This was my first visit, but it won't be my last. The food and service was wonderful. I had the beef tips/baked 🥔. Both were excellent. We àre moving to the area, and are looking forward to many meals here.
Dale's is a family friendly restaurant. With a great salad bar and family style food. They have a country fixin' lunch menu and more of a seafood menu for the evenings and weekends.
While the food was really good and that is what we we're there for, we were extremely disappointed in our server, Lisa. We were not greeted with a hello, a smile, there were no pleasantries at all. While we were ordering, she was busy looking away around the room. Asking her any questions warranted short, curt responses as if we should know the answers already or we were holding her up from something else. When we received our food, it was from someone else. She came by later and threw some things on our table, and we didn't see her again until we were long out of drinks. Then we had to wait for quite some time to get our check. This lady needs a new job or position she can be happy at. One other thing that warrants an establishment a poor rating faster than a dirty dining is a dirty restroom. This ladies' room strongly smelled of urine, and when a worker goes in and cleans up or uses the restroom and leaves without washing their hands, it's a definite 0. Again, this food was was worth the visit and definitely good. The experience was not!
I love Dale's.
Ever since I met my wife who is from this area we have been coming to the two Dale's locations.
We just recently stopped in with the family on a Saturday afternoon and the wait was non-existent. We put two tables together and the staff was real nice about accommodating 10 of us.
The service was quick and friendly. I don't think there were any mistakes for the whole table.
I ordered a small seafood platter and it is two meals worth of food. The servings here will make you a big ole' boy. I'm not complaining though.
The hush puppies are heavenly and the sweet tea is truly southern. I tend to go for half and half so I can stave off diabetes. The deviled crabs are superstars BTW. You should get at least one.
Prices are not bad considering you will leave with a big full belly. Bathrooms are clean and we'll stocked and parking is plentiful outside. This is a nice off the beaten gem.
Had our church Christmas Dinner here 10 December 2021. Oyster Roast I had was shared with a Brother; it was DRY and was ordered WET. Other than this everything else WAS GREAT. We had a group of 48 out of a reservation made for 50 people. Thank you for the accommodations. Wait time was relatively short for a group of this size. I can't say enough nice things about the Staff who were ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Again Thank you for your wonderful service and accommodations.

I can not say enough about the excellence of the food, the staff was amazing. What a surprise to find a restaurant of this caliber, not in New York city, not in the district of Columbia, but in Whiteville. I very highly recommend The Chef and the
Cute small town diner. I dropped a rider off here (I drive Rideshare). The food aroma was tempting, but I needed to get back to the Charlotte area. If I had the time, or if I'm back, I would definitely eat here
Great little shop that offers a wide variety of the most delicious donuts around. From chocolate to glazed, to lemon filled and hang tens, just to name a few, they are always fresh and always wonderful. They also serve breakfast and lunch, and they a
It's definitely one of a kind, a hometown favorite I will say!! It's usually always busy busy, but even if you have to wait a few mins, it's always worth it. The staff is friendly as can be, quick when you need a refill or to take your order the rest

I placed an order online for pick up 40min before closing time. When we arrived, the manager POLITELY came and asked us if we really wanted the burrito I had ordered for my son. When I told him yes, it was th
I ordered the 12 oz. Ribeye. It was so tender and juicy. I asked for some A1, but after taking a bite, A1 would have ruined the flavor. It was out of this world! Go try it. You wont be disappointed.
