This was our first time in this restaurant. We moved here a little over a year ago from Arizona. We had seen this restaurant when we drove by. Our across the street neighbors had said they liked it and we should all go sometime. Today we were out and about and close by so decided to try it for lunch. It was a little busy, being that it was Sunday at lunch and it seemed like there were lots of after church folks coming in! Still, we were seated right away! It's a cute place, very homey, and everyone was friendly and sweet! Our server was so great, very friendly and efficient! We both enjoyed our meal. My only complaint would be that my sides...Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were not hot. Just warm. Tasty but not hot. It's nothing fancy, just home cooked food. Personally, I won't rush back. But if my neighbor said, hey, let's go to Dale's! I would tag along.
This place was amazing!!! The southern homey feel is amazing and beautiful, and the service is speedy and great!! The food is indescribable, and just overall extravagant!!! 30/5 stars, highly recommend!!
Great meat and three. I'm not big on fried food but the combo appetizer, and especially the horseradish, is amazing. It's hard to find a good baked potato surprisingly and theirs were perfectly fluffy and delicious. The service and atmosphere were both good. High recommend.
Chicken fried chicken was AMAZING!!!! The burger was a hit too!! Bonus with good service! Waitress gave a little back history and all the food is made in the restaurant from the original owners' recipes. Not too far from the airport for a bite to eat before or after a flight. The cornbread was horrible (maybe a bad batch .. we didn't ask for extra to find out) and the rolls were at least edible. Oh!! Bathrooms are good, and there are a few displays around the restaurant. If you like Christmas displays, STOP HERE AND LOOK!! OVERALL, a nice, homey place to get some good food and share a meal with someone(s) special.
I was in the area and was wanting to have some lunch. Read the great reviews so I opted in. I got the chicken and dressing, mashed potatoes pinto beans and cornbread. I understand that the chicken and dressing was an old family recipe possibly... I personally was not impressed. It was good, yes but was it delicious... No. The pinto beans, probably could have been cooked a little bit longer and they really didn't have a lot of flavor. The cornbread was kind of bland. Nothing special there and the roles had a funny taste, not a bad taste but just a heavy funny taste. Like I said it was not bad but it wasn't delicious either. If I'm in the area I may give it another chance. Atmosphere was very nice and relaxing with an old feel to it and the waitresses were running around making sure to be on top of everyone's needs. I will say that the food came out really fast also.
The poor waitress was stretched thin, but did a great job. The food wasn't too bad. It was all fresh, and took about 45 minutes to get our food. But with it being a local family business, that didn't bother me too much since I had plenty of time. The fries were the best part, honestly. Might go back to try something else, but I won't go out of my way to eat here again.
Best home cooking I've had in a long time. The grilled chicken breast was awesome as was the cabbage. All of the food was delicious, service was great, and the hostess was most congenial. Can't wait to go back.
Just not good. We went on a Saturday at around 1pm and there was nothing going on. Immediately sat and greeted quickly by our server, who was pretty good. The food however was awful. It came out really fast which was almost a red flag. We got an appetizer platter with fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and mozzarella sticks (which was the only decent part of the meal). Rolls came out almost room temperature. My mom’s salad looked like salad from a bag - droopy and with no crunch. Her chicken was so dry she couldn’t finish it, and her rice was so over-cooked it was just mush. The squash casserole (which used to be delicious) had no flavor, and the yams were alright but they tasted like they came from a can and they went heavy on the cloves to cover it up. My steak and cheese sandwich had literally no flavor - the only flavor came from the toasted bread; the au jus that is served with it tastes like WATER. No flavor at all. I got the yams as well, which again just weren’t good. $40 for, as my mom put it, “food I wouldn’t even feed my dog, and I don’t even have a dog.” Also the restroom is very cramped and I doubt a wheelchair could even fit in the handicapped stall.
Friendly service, great coffee, delicious sausage/egg breakfast croissants. Clean, bright welcoming space to sit with free Wi-Fi. A little music in the background would make it perfect. A little hard to find--signage not obvious.
Wonderful training facility. Did training there for 6 months and it was the best experience I ever had with a trainer. Jamal encourages you to do your best while inside or outside the gym. When you are there, you feel like family. Looking forward to
This is one of our FAVORITE places to shop!! I come up from Jackson, MS, to shop here with my sister. The clothes are fantastic, last a long time, and are beautiful. Also, the best part of this store is the staff. Courtney is our absolute favorite. S
