The Inn itself is a beautiful experience but what makes the stay so special are the couple who own & run the B & B. Jim & Carol do everything to make your stay perfect. Carol is a wonderful cook, giving us a different breakfast each morning. We had tasty quiches caramel rolls, stuffed French Toast, pumpkin pancakes, and all the sides to round off a delicious breakfast. She also made treats for us later in the day. Jim kept up the substantial yard & gardens for great picture opportunities. The rooms-public & private- are very clean & orderly with a beautiful Victorian decor. We would definitely come again!

Beautiful home, wonderful hosts, great food! From beginning to end, we had a lovely stay. We felt very welcomed. We enjoyed using the public spaces in the home especially playing scrabble up in the ballroom. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and private. The clawfoot tub was great for a good soak. Carol and Jim are a delightful couple.

During a recent house hunting visit to Minot ND, we stayed at the Dakota Rose B&B. It was lovely to be pampered and enjoy relaxing during our free time. The breakfasts were delicious and they worked with our schedule (both a very late flight arrival and early appointments to view houses). Would highly recommend a stay there for business or pleasure as the home has many places to sit and read or relax and also beautiful grounds and surrounding areas. We easily walked downtown for dinner as well. Highly recommend!

My dad knew the family that owned this house in the 1960's and I knew the couple who owned it in the 1980's, so it was fun just to go inside the house again. My parents are at a point where it's difficult for them to host, so we stayed here rather than at their place, and our experience was absolutely top-notch. The property is beautifully maintained and the house is filled with lovely antiques. Jim and Carol are very kind and friendly and the breakfasts Carol fixes are epic! Very tasty and she takes guests' dietary concerns into account. There are no scented cleaning or laundry products used in the guest rooms to accommodate allergies and other health issues. Dakotah Rose is the perfect blend of old-school design and customer service with modern touches right where they're needed. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful landsacpe and setting in this historic bed and breakfast. We had a great stay and enjoyed our tour as well as history lesson about the home. A delicious breakfasts and conversations with Jim and Carol the owners was an extra bonus. Will definitely stay again if we are back in Minot!

Accommodations were lovely. The bed and breakfast has a rich history which was fun to learn about. Carol & Jim were very attentive to our needs. Throughly enjoyed the family style breakfast. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Jim & Carol ( The Inn Keepers) treated us like royalty during our stay at their beautiful B&B. From the lovely appointments and amenities in each of the bedrooms to the amazing, delicious breakfast offerings, it was all first class. All six of us from various areas of the USA (each person part of our family tree) were definitely impressed with the Dakotah Rose B&B. We will return again for more of this comfort and peace. This home is amazing!! It's like stepping back in time! I can imagine the memories in days gone by made here and the ones to be made! Carol and Jim are wonderful and sooo accomadating. Breakfast was sooo good and Carol is a fantastic cook! Jim is very personable and both of them made "the energy girls" stay so pleasurable. My cousin, Aunt and I were here for Høstfest .
