Dairylane - Fast food restaurant in Sandersville - 839 S Harris St, USA

For the price the food is great. I feed my family of 5 for $46 and in 2023 thst is great. With that said, the burgers taste like school lunch. They are small and bland. The slaw dogs are amazing. The onion rings were good. The fries are not bad. Had the food bern hot it would have bern better. The service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is nostalgic of my 80's childhood. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

What can you say, it’s a local landmark. Gets real busy around lunch, but the staff do their best to get food out in a timely manner. To me it’s worth waiting for. Oh, if you like peanut butter, the peanut butter milkshake is worth the drive.

I really liked their food. Had a strawberry milk shake, great and I did something I haven't done in years, sat out back at a picnic bench brought back memories.

Two days in a row I went to Dairy lane, 2 days in a row the service was terrible. Took forever to even order. Today we just ordered 3 milkshakes, someone came in after us ordered 2 and got his first. The place gets busy and they only have one person there. This was my hangout growing up and when I come to town I go for the BBQ sandwich and banana milkshakes. I guess I need to find another place. Whoever owns it now is letting Hut Avants name be disgraced. I do miss the old dairy lane when the people were fast and friendly.

Burger was really good, kind of tasted like some I had when I was a kid. Chili on the dog was ok, the dog was just a cheap ol dog. The stew was good, best tasting I have had in a while, And really like the feel of sitting in an old Drive In. All this was 7 bucks, not too bad, I would definitely go back.

Loved this place my whole life. Food has gotten way too expensive and not even close to quality of what it ever was. Service is awful. So sad. It was nearly $40 for 8 small cheese burgers w mayo and pickles only and 2 small bbq sandwiches. Waited nearly an hr for that small order and it was not good. There was hardly no one else in there. Very very disappointed.

We stopped in after swinging by the UGA Barn sign. We had the cheese burger with chili and well as a chili cheese dog. Food was good and the service was friendly and fast. Plus they have that great shaved ice! 😋

What a disappointment. I used to love this place. I haven’t been here in 5 years. I was driving through GA yesterday carrying my grandparents. I talked this place up for 4 hours on the road trip. When we got there the service was terrible, the staff was very rude acting like we were bothering them. We had a bigger order for four of us. When it was ready they yelled out to come get it. I was making a few trips to get all the food and drinks to our table. The worker asked if I needed help. I said sure, so she just moved them down the counter closer to the table. When we got our burgers they were less than appealing. They had nothing on them. The fries were cold. After we asked for everything on the burgers and crispy fries. I couldn’t even get the staffs attention for ketch up. They just went in the back and wouldn’t come back up. We left back on our road trip highly disappointed. Low and behold all four of us got sick. We have now been up all night with food poisoning. Dairy lane is a joke from what it used to be. I will never come back to this establishment and will never say a good thing about this place.
