The restaurant was clean and well stocked. Plenty of seating available inside. The service was faster than expected. This led us to believe the food was not made to order. After receiving the food it was confirmed it was not cooked to order. The chicken tenders were dry and flavorless. The burger patties were a bit dry as well. We returned the chicken and I ate the burger. The fries were good and the shakes were tasty. The staff was friendly, if not a little defensive, but very cooperative when asking for a refund on the chicken.
WAS MISSING TOMATOES ON MY SALAD THAT I HAD DELIVERED CALLED DAIRY QUEEN TO LET THEM KNOW AND VERY PLUNTLY TOLD ME THAT THERE WASN'T ANYTHING THAT HE COULD OR WOULD DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT HE EVEN WENT SO FAR AND BLAMED IT ON THE DELIVERY PERSON!!! VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! NOT HAPPY WITH THE OLD TOWN DAIRY QUEEN!!!
Anybody looking to work here … don’t. My partner got a job here three weeks ago, received minimum training and throughout the entire training process the employees were rude to someone who was simply trying to learn. For instance, they were trying to learn how to make blizzards and a girl looked at them, mumbled how poorly they were doing it, and continued to make fun of them instead of helping. And then proceeded to fire them three weeks later for “being rude” despite their employees bullying the new trainees.
As a young person looking to work, stay clear. The atmosphere is hotile, the workers are not friendly. You will get punished and let go with the drop of a dime.
My rating is specifically for those young folks looking to work. Find some place more welcoming and respectful.

First time there and it was very nice. The staff nice,,no rude attitude. Took my adult son to lunch. Chicken tender dinner excellent!!!
Excellent customer service. Their food is excellent and they listen to your special orders with no mistakes. Ice cream is awesome. And I always leave there with a smile.
