Dairy Haus - Ice cream shop in Saratoga Springs - 476 Maple Ave, USA

Heard that they make their own ice cream so we gave it a try. Four of us tried the hard ice cream in various flavors. Both kids loved it. My wife tried two flavors and gave them a five star. I tried three ( yes, you read that correctly) and two of the three were five stars. The banana oreo was just a three. And that is because it was clearly artifical banana flavoring. Sad. Was hoping for a "Cold Stone" tyoe banana ice cream. However, the Choc o Lot was AMAZING and the Cookies & Cream was TERRIFIC. Well worth stopping by if you are in Saratoga. Next time we'll try the soft serve.

The absolute best ice cream in Saratoga springs and beyond. Honestly beats out every ice cream place I have tried including Humpty Dumpty in town and Van Leeuweens in Brooklyn NY. A truly gourmet ice cream with high end, fresh ingredients. It makes other ice creams seem diluted. The mint ice cream was so creamy and dense. The cookie in the other Sundae was just as good as the ice cream. And the staff was so friendly and patient explaining sizes and options. There is a cute outdoor dining space to enjoy your dessert. I wish there were more Dairy Haus ice cream places.. definitely coming back!

The ice cream here is very good. I like that they have kiddy cones and the flavor variety and novelty of flavors is really great. However, like everyone else said, they are severely understaffed so you will have to wait a long time to get to the window if there is a line. Even worse, the ordering system is to queue behind each serving window, so if you step into the wrong line prepare to be severely bitter as you watch people in the other line who came 10 minutes after you get served 15 minutes before you. Why not set up a ticket system like at the deli? That would be much more fair. I'd only recommend stopping by when there's no line. They have parking, but you might not get a spot during peak times. Covered outdoor seating is available.

Delicious homemade ice cream. Tons of awesome flavors in both hard and soft. They even offer flights of ice ream if you can’t pick just one. I love the peanut butter smash. The sizes are huge. The picture I took here is a “small.” The lines can be really long depending on when you go but this is some of the best ice cream in the area and worth the wait. We usually try to go on Monday to cut down on some of the wait.

I am giving it a thread only because you only had 2 people working, and the lines were outrageous. I feel very bad for the employees that were working there. Numerous people pulled in the parking lot got out of their cars and got into line and ended up turning around and leaving. There were probably 10 people in front of us in one line and probably another 10 to 12 people in the other line. I know it's difficult to get help now, but something seriously needs to be done about this. The food, or I should say, the ice cream was very good.

Unbelievably inexpensive ice cream treats, served from a classic stand. Too many flavors to mention. Great place!

Fabulous little local ice cream shop with a wide variety of menu items. It all sounded so delicious. They even have pie!

Driving home after dinner, we stumbled upon this Dairy Bar. The ice cream was amazing! And, our first of the season. Absolutely delicious, highly recommended!
