$11.00 for a well cooked to-order cheeseburger, a delicious, grilled bun with all the works and home-cut fries that I asked to be extra crispy. They did not disappoint! The service was spot-on, the place is clean and my cheeseburger meal was delicious. This is a bar and grill with ample dining and at-bar seating, 2 pool tables, video games and video poker. I'll update as I try other food there.
Wow this place has been around for a long time. The bartender was super friendly and can multi-task with ease. The whole place was nice and laid back without weirdos and all of the patrons were very polite. Fun video poker but I didn't win a thing. Will be going back though, because the bartender was sooooo nice. Four paws up for a great place to go in the inner southeast neighborhood. And I could tell that this place is well respected and it was very clean and inviting. The lighting and simple yet attractive decor is a plus.
Bartender was a very rude spiteful individual that false advertises as a family restaurant. There is a sign on the side of the building that says family welcome. They are to lazy to take down the false advertising since they say they stopped serving minors during covid. That is false advertising to say you’re a family restaurant then treat customers rudely when they come to dine. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. That bartender needs to get laid cause he clearly can’t.
Service is great and food is really good for a bar. The staff put a lot of effort into this place. No idea why more people from the neighborhood don't go here, even on major nights like NYE when you'd expect it to be busy it's pretty quiet, which is arguably good for the consumer experience but not so much for the bar. Regardless, always a good experience here!
Don’t expect prompt service at noon on a weekday….. after waiting ten minutes in the empty room, Ms. Molasses the bartender-waitress with an unfriendly attitude sauntered over AFTER THE COOK saw me. Did not appreciate the total lack of attention.
Very disappointed! We were excited to try this place after reading the reviews. The pictures were noting like what we experienced. The waitress was cold and very uninviting. We did not get silverware or napkins. We could not make any substitutions. There were no sauce options on the buffalo wings. The meal came to $37 for two people. Our waitress never once came to our table after we ordered. We had to go to the bar for everything we needed for our meals.. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. The whole experience was a huge disappointment and I was sincerely excited to try a place with such great reviews.
Used to be a nice place but the neighbors around the place and some of the bartenders like the ones that have their nose up in the air and think they're better than everybody but the female bartenders are really sweet after asking you for your ID anyway lol I don't have grey hair because I'm young lady's.
Great Food. We stopped in for breakfast. The portions are large. I got a chicken quesadilla. It was very big and came with sour cream and salsa. Our waitress Amy was friendly. Children are allowed here, but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable bringing a child here come happy hour only because I see this place more of a bar. But it's SUPER comfortable for a jeans and t-shirt outings. They even have booth seating. They have several video poker machine's and two pool tables. It's dark inside. The bathroom is old but clean. All in all we will be coming back here for breakfast again because it's not noise and good atmosphere.

Great little neighborhood diner. If you want a zippy breakfast cocktail this is definitely the place. I absolutely destroyed the chicken fried steak and eggs. I will be back again for sure.
We came just in time for happy hour and it is such a deal! We ordered the Mongolian beef skewers and artichoke dip fir appetizers. We then ordered a sandwich and the beef stroganoff off, and IT IS FANTASTIC. I doubted how good it could be, but honest
