Quite possibly the best Ramen I've ever had! Stopped in on a whim with some friends. We put our names on the list to be seated and waited about 15 minutes for a table. Once we sat down, the service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The food came out hot and it was delicious! I highly recommend 👌
Wonderful dining experience we had at this restaurant. We were there on a Thursday before 5pm so we didn’t have to wait. Our waiter was really helpful and efficient with everything. The broth of ramen was delicious and the noodles had the perfect texture. I enjoyed it a lot. I ordered their Daikoku Ramen with small Pork Cutlet Bowl. It was equally tasty. So were all the other plates. Personally I think their price is very reasonable. Their friendly staff certainly was a big part of the wonderful experience over there.
This ramen is top tier!! Amazing must stop in Downtown Los Angeles. Get the original Daikokuya ramen or the Spicy Miso Ramen. Both fire!!! I got a side of Spicy Miso Bomb to make ramen a bit more spicy which was nice. Definitely try the fried rice. Amazing!! Even for leftover it’s even better with some soy sauce and hot sauce. Definitely check out this LA institution and landmark.
My friend Adam, Sean & I visited Daikokuya in Little Tokyo 1st St Los Angeles. Since it was my birthday in July 1st. We ordered the world famous Daikoku Ramen for $17.00 homemade gyoza cabbage salad such as side dishes. Very expensive than I expected. Cash only I guess. Adam & Sean treated me like a teacher said thanks. Some reason I wanted order my mom homemade gyoza for togo. Most satisfying ever in my entire life.
Amazing ramen. We got the vegetarian broth which tasted just like a liquefied salad would taste like (if you like veggies this is really good). Then we also got the traditional pork bowl, it was just a savory umami mixed with some simple noodles. We got the combinations for both of these. The salad is just shredded cabbage but the dressing is a sesame miso flavor, and made the cabbage great. The rice and pork cutlets were good and helped make this a completely filling meal. The only down side was the combos are expensive
I had the tonkotsu ramen i would say one of the best ramen i ever had . The broth i slurp it all the way it's creamy and porky. Even the chasu pork bow rice is bomb. i would highly suggest this place if you want a warm, hearty ramen.
Honestly a bit disappointed in the food here. Was expecting at least a great meal based on the reviews and attention but the ramen (ordered tonkatsu and tsukumen) was pretty average, although the takoyaki was pretty great. Service was average, the host sounded bored as you entered but otherwise pretty typical. Come here if you want a normal bowl of ramen but probably not worth lining up.
Fell from grace, alot of my friends told me this place was a worthy ramen spot but I had a pretty terrible experience. Service here makes no sense and just made me anxious. The waiters are straight up sprinting down the aisle and frantically just throwing dishes on the table to the wrong people then running away from the table. The ramen is a 6/10 at best and the side dishes were even less impressive. Chashu was dry and bland. Waiter left halfway through our service and the other waiter forget to get our check so we sat around for 20 mins. Also it smelled like feet in the back booth where we sat. Go to shin sen gumi instead if you're in little tokyo. A much better experience.

Had amazing Chicken Katsu Curry there. One of the best I had. The Tako-yaki was really good too. The Location might not leave a good first impression, but the food is well worth it.

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
