Dad's Pub - Bar in Waterloo - 1106 La Porte Rd, USA

Even though the name said ‘Don’t Bother’ we went anyway. Dad’s had a nice comfortable vibe walking in. Tallboy and shot was 8$ which is reasonable for this part of town. But it’s hard to enjoy yourself with ignorant chit chit so loud I figure they have no one to talk to at home. It did have that musty beer fart smell so many of these folks may have still been drunk from yesterday. I guess to me it had the feel of a Wisconsin bar without the snowmobiles or atvs but still had the people. We’ll be back but maybe on a better smelling night. Enjoy!

Ordered the chicken parm and crispy garlic bread. 45 minutes later still no chicken parm or garlic bread. The bartender told me they don't serve food and that I'm an idiot. Will not be back.

A+ service dog experience. As they should, staff completely ignored my service dog. Friendly staff too.

There is no kitchen so there is no food & we were starving after traveling all day!!

Very nice, friendly, clean, and cozy place. Reminded me of your local corner bar back in the day. Everyone was just enjoying themselves and happy. My husband and I are out of towner's and they treated us no different. Great place!

Greeted personally by the owner, staff handles a big crowd with a smile. Great atmosphere...lots of fun! When I head back to the hometown this is my landing spot!

The bartender was rude and had a bad attitude towards our group like we were an inconvenience.
