D Roadhouse Bar & Grill - Restaurant in Dothan - 4636 S Oates St, USA

This is without a doubt the friendliest restaurant in all our travels. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of from drinks to dessert! This is now our favorite when we travel through the area. Thank you to the staff for making us smile and allowing us to share stories of our travels with you! Hope to see you again soon!

In Dothan, AL for the night on our way to The Tides Luxury RV resort. Discovered we have a broken spring on the RV. Came here on the reviews and the first thing the owner did was give Keith a rose to give to me. The food was amazing! Excellent flavor and served quickly. We had fried cheesecake for desert. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff was amazing, but the food unfortunately was not. All of our appetizers and entrées were not cooked all the way and tasted like something that came out of the frozen food section of the grocery store. We brought it up with the awesome waitresses and the boss who apologized and wanted to make it right by remaking everything. We had other things to do afterward and didn't want to wait around, so we politely declined, then got charged full price for everything, even though more than half the entrées remained uneaten. I'm sure if I brought it up, they probably would have worked it out, but that was just one more of those little points that detracted from having a good experience. On the plus side, they do have a good wait staff. They offer live music on occasion, and the place does have a good roadhouse vibe with some interesting menu options and a food challenge that can get you on their wall of fame.

Leanna and Josh were excellent!! The place was so welcoming and the food delicious! We wished we could have stayed longer. Everyone was friendly. We had the 1909 Cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. So yummy! The sweet tea is made just like it should be. The restaurant is clean and smells good. The decor is all American with metal Harley Davidson, truck, Route 66 signs just to name a few. There are two bar areas and pool tables. Great spot to hang out with friends. We look forward to going back and next time leaving room for Mama’s homemade banana pudding! She’s 87 and still baking!

We drop in occasionally as a family. Today we (my wife, two sons and myself)were all able to meet up for lunch coming from all different directions on the motorcycles. The food is always delicious and filling. The staff are very personal and friendly, and today we learned that they make fresh every day one of our weekend favorites! I'm not telling what it is though! Lol! Make sure I get mine! Very friendly place to be!

D Roadhouse Bar & Grill great food and a lot of it for the price. Owner is Vietnam Vet, one of the cooks retired Marine both had some stories to tell - Thank y’all for your service 🇺🇸❤️. Our son leaves for Basic next week and owner gave him a prayer coin to take with him, both men gave him good advice. Again food is on point. Support the ones who gave for our country 🇺🇸

Staff and managers are great! I was greeted with a welcome to the family feeling. Leanna provided great service and friendly conversation. I order the ribeye after hearing the manager describe the prep process and the flavor was great! It was cooked to perfect temp. I will be back again.
