D.A. Taste Catering - Taco restaurant in Buffalo - 368 Abbott Rd, USA

This place was EXTREMELY overhyped. I’ve seen this all over social media as THE best place for tacos in WNY. Now as a La Divina lover, I was suspicious but had to try this place out. Safe to say it did not live up to the hype. We waited an hour and a half tacos that were not good. I got the beef birria, chicken birria, lobster, and a Dom’s taco. The chicken birria was TERRIBLE. It was not cooked like birria meet should be. It was super dry and tasteless. The Dom’s taco was a basic ground beef taco that tasted like they had used Ortega packet seasoning. The lobster taco was over seasoned to the point of being super salty. The beef birria was the most tolerable of all of them but even then it was a 5/10 at most—not worth the wait or the hype. The worker herself was super kind and helpful, which was great. All in all not worth the hype, price, time, or calories. I’ll be sticking with La Divina. Anyone looking to try this place should be forewarned that their hours are not accurate and during busy times they will close way before their official close time. They closed at 8 yesterday but stopped taking orders at 7:20 and unfortunately had to turn a lot of people away.

What can i say, one of the BEST taco spots in all of Western NY. There was a very nice selection of tacos and specials. The food was very very good but just a tad bit too greasy for my stomachs liking. Lol. But i would still go eat it again. We will be back soon.. keep up the great job and Cannot Wait for the new location on Seneca. 🌮🍺

Great tasting good and excellent use of seasoning. Inconsistent hours/specials/availability for delivery makes it challenging to know when items will be available during a time frame. Hopefully this improves as they grow into new location.

We walked in at 6:28pm looking to get take out after driving 20 minutes to get there for a first time visit that we were excited about. We were told that they were no longer taking orders. We should have at least received a gift card towards a future purchase if they were going to inconvenience us for our dinner plans. They are supposed to be open until 7pm.

So glad this business is expanding, it has been fun watching them grow. Finally got to try the ramen today and it was very good and the containers are packed with noodles and meat. I can not wait for their second location to open.

The owners / chef's hands we're blessed by God himself. The outside taco shell was was cooked to perfection. Shell was Crispy and definitely perfectly matched the meat (Pause). Lobster taco was fantastic!!!! It was worth the drive and worth the wait. I just hope this place does not grow too quick because This is taco soul food!!! Blessings B-Lo 🇺🇲 #GOYAinc

Soooo good! Long wait times but very worth the wait. Just call ahead of time and place your order. I wait a little after the time they tell you just to be safe. They are so delicious they get super busy fast!

Food was amazing. Be prepared if you don't order ahead of time to wait like an 45 min to an hour, but it was definitely worth the wait!
