I recently discovered a gem of a burger joint that's a calorie enthusiast's dream come true. This place takes burgers to a whole new level with their massive creations that are practically a work of art. I couldn't believe my eyes (or my taste buds) when I sunk my teeth into one of their colossal burgers. Each bite was like a flavor explosion, and the combination of perfectly cooked patties, fresh toppings, and pillowy buns was nothing short of burger heaven. And let's not forget about the fried sides – they were crispy, golden bites of pure joy that perfectly complemented the burgers.
To top off this delightful experience, they serve fantastic ice cream delights that are the perfect sweet ending to a savory meal. The outdoor seating area was the cherry on top, allowing me to enjoy my feast in the fresh air and soak in the atmosphere. If you're on a quest to regain those lost calories with some epic burgers, fried stuff, and heavenly ice cream, all while basking in the great outdoors, this burger joint is an absolute must-visit. It's a calorie-loaded adventure you won't want to miss!
In from Ohio and stopped for a late bite and it was great! Had the Alaska burger, mushroom Swiss and green chili fries. All excellent! The milkshakes OMG you have to have one!! We got mediums and they are huge!! We come to Colorado every year and this will be a must every time!!
The place looks a little run down, but it has some great food! There's not a whole lot of parking, and for the parking they have, it's always packed. There's also not a whole lot of sitting space since it's a fairly small building, but they do have outdoor seating when the inside fills up.
The food was absolutely delicious. Great burgers, tenderloins and hot dogs. The sides of onion rings and fries tasted pretty good too! There are a lot of options in regards to food, plus, they allow for free refills.
It's a great place to stop and eat at if you need some food, just beware, service can be pretty slow since they don't have a lot of workers, and it's super busy all the time.
I had an excellent side at Cy’s. This is that classic old school burger joint that will scratch that itch for a hearty nostalgic meal. I got the junior cheeseburger, fries and a coke for under $10. Burger and fries were solid although next time I’ll be ordering a double! My only criticism is the ranch. Tasted subpar and wasn’t worth the extra 50¢.
I drive by everyday & always wondered. Hubby and I finally made a stop to try it out and definitely did not disappoint. Perfect little simple drive in diner with a burger that hit the spot! So fresh, not greasy and excellent size. The chocolate shake was was the real deal 🤤definitely will be back!
From the outside, it doesn't look like the best place to stop to eat at. Even the inside looks very old. The service is slow, but you can wait in your car and they will bring the food to you. Also, it seems like it's a older couple back in the kitchen making all the food from scratch. So the long wait time is ok when the food at the end is delicious. The burgers were very good, but the patty melts were the best thing I've evere eaten. Nice and warm, with melty cheese and delicious caramelized onions. The fries and onion rings were oily but so crispy, hot, and delicious! We really can't wait to go back, it's actually worth it!
FINALLY found a good old fashioned burger in COS! Been burger hopping for a few months. Found a couple good burgers, but not an old fashioned one. Much better than the food at Velvet Freeze. I highly recommend this place!
EDIT 12/6/23: I highly recommend the Jalapeno Burger, as well as the fried mushrooms! I'm in love with these guys. So much great food
Best burger in town. My stepdad has been going there for 50 years and I've been going there for 20. Anytime I'm in the area I swing through and grab a burger. If I'm working in the area I'll get one for my whole crew and everyone loves em. I love the fifties era feel and the staff is always friendly. Cy's is the only burger in town that's worth your money.

Stopped in on 11/12/23 while in the springs for a quick weekend getaway. We are always up for a new place and a burger sounded wonder.
This is in downtown Colorado Springs and right across the street from Acacia Park with plenty of shopping around.
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
