Cypress Aquatic Center - Swimming pool in Daytona Beach - 981 George W Engram Blvd, USA

4 stars because the facility is great. My kids love going. 2 starts for the way it is run. It takes forever to check in, and when you have multiple young kids in tow this is really difficult- especially because the check in area is open to the street so you need to hold or have a stroller for young ones. The staff is hit or miss, some very nice and some a bit rude by my standards. Driver license is (mostly) required. A few times they haven't asked. Cash only. The city really needs to do a much better job of relaying this information to the patrons who come here. It is not hard for people to come prepared with just a little foresight from the City and the management.

My daughter and I were visiting Daytona Beach from out of town and wanted to use the pool to swim laps to maintain our regular swim routine. We were surprised to learn entry is conditional upon having your driver’s license scanned, supposedly because it is a city ordinance. Information like this should be listed on the pool’s website (which we checked before heading over). Only one of us had their DL, so we ended up leaving. Another piece of information that should be on their website: bring cash, because they won’t accept cards for transactions under $15.

Staff are very nice & a nice place to spend time at. Great family fun . Very clean inexpensive fun hard to find now of days.

First time with family, And it was just what we all needed, very outstanding, loved it, my grands and I would pass by from the road, and I would tell them I will take them one day, so glad I did, we enjoyed every minute of it, and now it's our weekend go to place, it was a BCU frat party on one side, and music in the park on the other side, it was great, lots of fun

Nice place, but getting ready to contact BBB consumer report against this place and their staff, the lady in the front was very unprofessional, she gave other people a raincheck for another day written on a blue note, but this receptionist refused to give us one, very biase, and racist towards us, me and my family went there no more than 10min before they heard thunder and kicked everyone out, the lady even had the nerve to lie to my wife by saying they don't give out rainchecks after witnessing her giving them out, and even after another employee informing us it's up to her who she gives them out to, that is biase, I would give this place 5 stars but would give their staff a negative 0-star if possible especially the getto racist receptionist, I am a retired officer and paralegal and will bring a lawsuit against this place real soon, after making a customer report. This was about the children not her nasty attitude, and racist upbringings. Very unprofessional.

Pool and locker rooms were very clean, staff was friendly, my son is almost 7 and had a blast on the slide. Only thing was they only take cash and I didn’t know before hand.

It's a safe park to visit, and I felt safer seeing cameras covering the place while I took a few night photography pictures and got to know a sweet kitten that just wanted the best pets.. I'm looking forward to visiting during a day and seeing what kind of crowd it attracts!
