Imagine starting your day in a coastal paradise, with the gentle rhythm of the waves as your soundtrack. Welcome to Cuvier Park, an exquisite spot nestled right by the ocean. With sweeping, majestic views that seem straight out of a postcard, this place is an absolute treat for the senses. As dawn breaks, watch the world come alive. The park becomes a vibrant tableau of morning walkers, joggers, and fellow nature enthusiasts, all basking in the glory of the new day. The community here is inviting, making it a great place to meet locals or simply observe the day-to-day bustle. But the true magic lies in the tranquil moments you get to steal for yourself. Nestled comfortably on a park bench, sipping your morning coffee, you can lose yourself in the soothing sounds of the ocean waves. It's a serene, almost meditative experience that you won't find anywhere else. Cuvier Park is not just a park, it's a haven of tranquility amidst the daily rush. So, take that detour before heading to the office. Start your day with a touch of coastal bliss. Trust me, your mind and soul will thank you.

It's one of my favorite beaches in all of San Diego! The seaweed can be a little overwhelming at times, but overall, my experience is always a treasured memory.

Epic location, especially when the weather is clear! Views up and down the coastline. When you find parking, so easy to go from your car to the grass bluff for a picnic, or just a nice sit. One of the best places in the San Diego area to watch a sunset!!! Definitely worth a visit when in the area!

Very nice grassy area to take in the views of the tide pools with access down to the beach and tide pools. Parking is only on one side of the street, so you have to be lucky.

Sooo picturesque! Our favorite spot for a relaxing picnic lunch at the beach. Grab one of the benches right on the Boardwalk, and sit, relax, enjoy ťhe ocean breeze on a comfy 75F summer afternoon. A busy Saturday and we were very lucky to pull into a parking space right on the boardwalk! Clean, pleasant crowd, cute happy dogs with their humans, plenty to be thankful for on a gorgeous weekend in August. Update - Post Covid - March 2023. Friday, 2pm, not crowded, 65F, Sunshine, after several days of rain this week, we finally made it to the beach on this gorgeous day. Tide is low, one can explore the tide pools, no problem parking, brought a nice sandwich lunch, and a nice little walk afterwards. Looking forward to more weeks like this.

Watch out for the fast, fatty, aggressive seagulls! They seriously have no boundaries or fear of humans. Food is before pic, just 10 seconds before we were swarmed and attacked. Not exaggerating! Eek. Great view at the picnic tables. Do not have food with you!

Very beautiful.. it’s best to go on the weekdays, the weekends get busy and parking is bad..

Very pretty, and scenic! Parking hard to find, but once you do you could spend an hour or two taking pictures, looking for little sea creatures, looking at seals and having a great time walking around
