Only stayed here once, but it was such an enjoyable experience, I can see it's going back here again. Two bars at the hotel, one inside on the first floor and one on the rooftop. The rooftop bar is extremely large, love that. All staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. Specifically we interacted with the bar tenders, cleaning staff, waitress, waiters, vallet, and front desk staff and they were all awesome. I really enjoyed the hot spring style hot tub tested with minerals over a traditional hot tub with chemicals.
From the moment we decided to call the hotel to book a room for our evening in Buffalo we knew it was just simply the best choice. Polite, professional, engaging and kind are only a few words to describe the staff and their commitment to our stay being the getaway we needed. The waiver I signed upon arrival reinforced that and immediately put me at ease and any interaction was unhurried and ensured we were the most welcome of guests. Food and beverage was enjoyable and room was clean, comfy and finer touches enhanced the experience. Without a doubt this hotel exceeded any preconceived expectations and I hope to return again someday soon. Thank you so very much again
Beautiful hotel and great location. The bed was so comfortable. The shower was awesome. Bidet on the toilet an added plus. Slippers and bathrobes provided. Great restaurant and staff. The rooftop bar was closed on the Fourth of July but other than that, wonderful time at the Curtiss. Can’t wait to return.
Extremely impressed with this hotel. We were greeted at the door by helpful staff. The hotel smelled very nice with the soap company scent they use. The rooms were very clean and updated with nice tech touches. An awesome experience overall. Will definitely be coming back
My wife and I found a new favorite quick getaway hotel! Between the amazing bathroom, hot spring pool & rooftop bar, there’s no need for us to try any other hotel. We both loved it & will definitely return!!!
This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel! I have traveled a lot and this is hidden gem. People were all helpful and courteous. We ate at the Chez Ami and food was excellent as well as the dessert. The decor is elegant and classy. I would definitely recommend the Curtiss hotel. We received this as a staycation gift and really enjoyed it.
Recently stayed here for a work conference, and it was a great experience. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. The staff were all friendly and great with all of our needs. The rooftop bar and the rotating bar are both great experiences. The room and amenities are phenomenal. I did not get a chance to check out the hot spring, but will on a future visit.
Nothing really bad about the hotel, but it's just not a five star hotel, it can't be! Here is why:
1. Starring from the parking lot: Someone pushed the luggage trolley towards me and left. You push your own luggage to your room. In a so called 5 star hotel, I expect a better welcome!
2. Hotel staff are nice, but not a 5 star nice! I doubt some of them have had any formal hospitality training.
3. In a so called 5 star hotel, and when the room costs above $400, I would expect a decent hot breakfast, not cold boiled eggs and bagel. The breakfast buffet was something you get in a 2 star hotel, not even in a 3 star hotel.
4. Buffalo needs new roads; it's seems like they have never maintained any road since they were first built, maybe 100 years ago. I wonder what do they do with their taxes!
